WWE Hall of Famer Edge appeared in a phone interview on the August 17 edition of the FAN Morning show with Ailish Forfar and Justin Cuthbert.
During the interview, Edge said that even though his match against Sheamus on the Friday, August 18 episode of WWE SmackDown would be the final on his current contract, his deal with the company actually expires at the end of September.
Edge defeated Sheamus on Friday night’s SmackDown. In a promo, after the show went off the air live from the Scotiabank in Toronto, Edge said that his match against Sheamus was his last match in the city.
