After making her return to WWE on Saturday at Crown Jewel, Kairi Sane has officially been added to the SmackDown roster.
Sane returned to provide the assist to IYO SKY to retain the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair. After the match, Sane hugged SKY, which upset Bayley. Michael Cole noted on commentary that the last time Sane was seen in WWE, she was left beaten by Bayley.
Sane was part of the NXT brand before she was called up to the main roster, where she was part of the Kabuki Warriors with Asuka. Sane initially left WWE back in December 2021 after her contract expired. After leaving WWE, Sane spent time in Stardom and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Asuka is also part of the SmackDown roster.
