TMZ Sports recently caught up with WWE Superstar Big E in New York last week.
The former WWE Champion was asked about his neck and if he has any fear on returning to the ring and if there is a timeline of when he might be back in action.
Big E told TMZ Sports that his neck is all together and that the bones are connected to the other bones, which is a good thing. On coming back, he reiterated past comments that he wants to make a smart decision and did not start wrestling to end up in a wheelchair. Big E added that he wants to be sure that he is making the best decision for himself.
As is pertains to a timeline, Big E said unfortunately he doesn’t have a timeline for his return, but did thank TMZ Sports for asking the question.
Big E suffered fractures to his C1 and C6 vertebrae after taking a bad overhead belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland back on the March 11, 2022 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. He previously said with the injury, he narrowly escaped a stroke, paralysis or death.
