According to a new report from Fightful Select, a number of WWE talent were in the area for the 2024 Royal Rumble PLE at Tropicana Field, but ultimately ended up not being used.
Among the talent were Blair Davenport, Johnny Gargano, Titus O’Neil, Xavier Woods, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Akira Tozawa, Chad Gable, and Otis, some of whom were filmed for promotional material on social media.
Also in the area for the weekend were The Undertaker, Gerald Brisco, Brian Blair, Mike Rotunda, and Steve Keirn.
The report also noted that WWE listed the Women’s Royal Rumble match for 55 minutes, but the match itself ran approximately 65 minutes.
This makes the 2024 match the second-longest Women’s Royal Rumble match to date, with the 2019 match still holding the record at 72 minutes.
