According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer/F4WOnline, Kevin Owens wrestled against Logan Paul in the United States Title Match at the Royal Rumble, with a fractured foot.
The report notes Owens’ injury occurred on the January 5 episode of SmackDown, during his match against Santos Escobar, which is why Owens had not competed in matches up until last Saturday’s Royal Rumble.
At the time of this writing, there is no word on a recovery time or if Owens will be kept off WWE programming until he is healed.
Logan Paul retained the United States Championship over Owens at the Royal Rumble, by disqualification after Owens was caught with brass knuckles he had taken from Paul.
