WWE has posted a Digital Exclusive with Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley getting emotional, as her family joined her backstage to celebrate her successful title defense against Nia Jax at Saturday’s Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia.
Ripley will now go on to WrestleMania 40 to defend the title against Becky Lynch, who was the winner of the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match on Saturday.
It was said on commentary that Ripley had 13 family members in attendance, sitting in the front row, which included her mother, father, and sister were in the front row for her match.
WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque also took to social media to comment on Ripley’s emotional homecoming and successful title defense.
