After being out of action due to undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus that happened last November, former United States Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio made his surprise return on Friday night’s SmackDown.
Mysterio continued his feud with Santos Escobar, as he assisted Carlito to defeat Santos Escobar in a street fight after Carlito put Escbor through a table.
Angel and Humberto got involved in the match. Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro tried to even the odds. Mysterio then came out on crutches. After faking the need to actually use crutches, he used them to hit Angel and Humberto.
