Seth Rollins returns to in-ring action at WWE live event on Saturday

World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins returned to in-ring action Saturday night at WWE’s live event, which took place at the Rapides Parish Coliseum in Alexandria, VA.

The live event was part of the latest stop in WWE’s Road to WrestleMania XL Tour.

Rollins teamed with with Cody Rhodes to defeat The Bloodlines’s Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. This was the first time Rollins wrestling since suffering a Grade 2 MCL tear and partially torn meniscus in his left knee, during his title defense against Jinder Mahal back on the January 15 episode of WWE Raw. Rollins announced during last Monday’s episode of Raw that he’s been cleared to return to action.

Rollins is set to team with Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 Night, against The Rock and Roman Reigns. If Rollins and Rhodes win the match, The Bloodline will be banned from the building for the title match with Reigns vs. Rhodes. However, if The Rock and Reigns win the match, then The Bloodline will be allowed to interfere with no disqualifications.

Rollins is set defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre on night two.
