Below are the highlights from Thursday’s AEW All In: London Media Call with Tony Khan.
-Khan led off the call confirming AEW is looking at running an event in Australia next year, with more information to come.
-Ricky Starks is still under contract with AEW and well-regarded. Khan complimented Starks. However, he did not provide any further details on where Starks has been since March and did not address the rumors that Starks declined to turn babyface and feud with his former tag team partner Big Bill.
-Khan was not asked about Ricochet signing a deal with AEW, despite reports coming out just 15 minutes before the call.
-Khan said that Dynamite could not air live in the UK because under his current TV rights deal with Warner Bros Discover, it is illegal to do so, as WBD pays 97 percent of their TV revenue.
-When asked about the exclusive negotiating window ending with Warner Bros Discovery and interest from other parties, Khan declined to answer, but did go on to say he has spent time with WBD’s executive team and that things have never been better. He also confirmed he met with David Zaslav in Paris during the 2024 Summer Olympics.
-When asked about returns or debuts for the Casino Gauntlet Match, Khan detoured and said that he invented the match while at Daily’s Place. He also said that it is his favorite match in his opinion. He further said maybe he should move his office at Daily’s Place permanently due to all of the magic coming out of there.
-Khan said the Von Erichs will be in London this weekend for All In.
-When asked about where the 2026 All In will be held in the UK, Khan did not answer directly, other than saying how much he loves London.
-Khan was asked about why All In will be held in Arlington, Texas next year. He said that he loves Texas and that new chief operating officer Kosha Irby actually came up with the idea.
