*UPDATED* – There is reportedly “no real heat” on Paul Heyman for shoving a young fan

-Updated @ 11:55 AM ET –

PWInsider has provided an update on the incident regarding Paul Heyman shoving a young fan outsider Petco Park at Survivor Series on Saturday.

Mike Johnson also writes that in speaking to WWE sources, PWInsider was told the initial camera angle of the footage being shared did not “tell the entire story.”

Additional footage shows Heyman put his arm up to distance himself from the young fan, as one of the security officials physically pulled the fan backwards and it appears that specific security officer is the person who moved the fan, not Heyman even though he had his arms up and it looked like he might have done so.

The report further notes on WWE source echoed the Fightful Select report that the blame should fall on local security for failing to prevent the fan getting around them and no to put the blame on Heyman or any other performer who is put in that “no-win” situation in which they have to react in real-time, as they are trying to return backstage.

-Original Report @ 9:45 AM ET-

According to a report from Fightful Select, there is reportedly “no real heat” on Paul Heyman for a fan incident he was involved in at this past Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series at Petco Park in San Diego, California.

A video went viral on social media showing Heyman shoving the young fan out of the way at the stadium. In the video Heyman and Logan Paul are seen surrounded by security as fans are around them. A young fan in the video is seen getting through security and approaching Heyman, as he then shoves the fan out of the way.

Fightful Select further indicates the reason there is no real heat on Heyman is because security noted they were at fault for letting the fan get to Heyman to begin with.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful notes the following in his report:

“I’m told by WWE sources there was no real heat on Paul Heyman pushing a child out of his way at Survivor Series. There was more heat on security for allowing anyone to get to him.”

Heyman was the manager of the team for the Men’s WarGames Match consisting of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar that defeated CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Jey and Jimmy Uso. A mystery person dressed in all black entered the cage, kicked Punk and then stomped him, allowing Breakker to run the ropes and then hit a spear on Punk to get the victory for his team.

Several reports indicated the mystery person was Austin Theory, who has not been seen on WWE television since July.
