According to a new report on Thursday from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar is expected to continue with WWE after his rematch with Oba Femi at this Sunday’s Clash in Italy premium live event.
The report also notes that Lesnar is not scheduled for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18, which emanates from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Lesnar was defeated by Femi at WrestleMania 42 Night Two. Following the match, Lesnar took off his boots and gloves, thus seemingly retiring in what was an emotional segment. However, Lesnar made his surprise return on the May 18 Raw, attacking Femi with multiple F5’s in the ring. Paul Heyman presented a contract to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce with Lesnar’s signature on it for a rematch with Femi for Clash in Italy.
During this past Monday’s Raw, WWE did an in-ring segment with Femi confronting Heyman and then signing the contract for the rematch.
