IMPACT star finishes up with the company; IMPACT Results for 4/14/22 on AXS TV

Caleb Konley (Kaleb with a K)took to Twitter Thursday evening to announce that he has finished up with IMPACT Wrestling. He was written off IMPACT Wrestling TV storylines which aired during Thursday night’s show on AXS TV.

Konley did not specify his reasoning for his departure from the company. As of this report, IMPACT has not commented on Konley’s exit from the company.

Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Madison Rayne w/ The Influence (Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb With a K) vs Jessie McKay w/ Cassie Lee

The battle for superiority in the Knockouts division continues as Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Madison Rayne takes on rival Jessie McKay! Suspicious of Kaleb With a K’s recent actions involving The IInspiration, The Influence force him to stay seated at ringside. Rayne uses the referee as a shield, allowing her to gain control in the early going. Rayne hits a Northern Lights suplex for two. McKay backs her in the corner, then builds momentum with a series of clotheslines. Rayne ducks an incoming strike, causing McKay to inadvertently take out the referee. Dashwood and Lee argue over who Kaleb should give the chair to. Kaleb slides it in between the two competitors and Rayne capitalizes. Rayne hits McKay with the chair, followed by the Cross-Rayne to win!

After the match, Kaleb is dumped by both duos. Kaleb says it doesn’t matter because he can have any girl he wants. W. Morrissey interrupts and makes Kaleb pay with the BQE through a table!

Less than two weeks away from Rebellion, an all-new IMPACT! from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia is on the air.

Following his attack on Kaleb With a K, W. Morrissey is in the ring to begin IMPACT. Morrissey says that it’s great to be back in the 2300 Arena on his own terms: clean, sober and in the best shape of his life. Morrissey thanks the fans for their continued support.

Brian Myers interrupts and accuses Morrissey of throwing away a great wrestling career in exchange for a good time. After being put through a table on multiple occasions by Morrissey, Myers threatens that if he continues to mess with him, Morrissey will end up half dead on this arena floor once again. An enraged Morrissey attacks him at ringside but just as he’s about to deliver another BQE, Chelsea Green provides a distraction.

Out of nowhere, Cardona cracks him in the head with the Digital Media Championship. Myers, Cardona and Green join forces as the Major Players and send Morrissey crashing through a table.

AAA Reina de Reinas & ROH Women’s World Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs Willow Nightingale – Champ Champ Challenge for the ROH Women’s World Championship

As a familiar face to Ring of Honor fans, it’s no surprise that when Willow Nightingale answers the Champ Champ Challenge, she chooses to challenge for the ROH Women’s World Title!

Nightingale hits a superkick for an early two count. Purrazzo counters a Death Valley Driver on the apron and drives Nightingale into the steel ring post to gain control. Nightingale hits a powerful bulldog to create separation and regain her composure. Nightingale levels Purrazzo with a Pounce, followed by a running cannonball in the corner. Purrazzo counters a running clothesline into Venus de Milo to win by submission!

Despite the victory that Mickie James and Nick Aldis scored over Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona at Multiverse of Matches, James says that things are far from over between them. Green interrupts and a brawl breaks out between the two former friends. Cardona blindsides James, allowing Green to lay her out with her cast.

Gia Miller interviews Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz ahead of her Rebellion title defense against Rosemary. Gia asks if she’s afraid of Rosemary’s dark, chaotic nature. Steelz recalls the long history that she has with Rosemary and says that she’ll be ready for the mind games that come her way. Seconds later, Decay appear on the video monitors behind Steelz and deliver a chilling message.

ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham vs Rocky Romero

Two weeks ago, Rocky Romero came to the aid of Jonathan Gresham during a two-on-one assault from Honor No More but tonight, they compete against each other in singles action! Honor No More’s leader, Eddie Edwards, is seen watching on from the back as he prepares to battle Gresham at Rebellion. Both men exchange a series of chops and running strikes with Romero gaining the upper-hand following an explosive clothesline. Romero kicks him to the outside, then connects with a Hurricanrana off the steps. The action is fast and furious as Gresham comes back with a suicide dive to the floor. Gresham traps Romero in a pinning predicament to score the three count!

Josh Alexander finally gets his long-awaited IMPACT World Title rematch against Moose, April 23rd at Rebellion and this one is personal!

Ace Austin is left with more questions than answers after “Speedball” Mike Bailey is unclear about the status of their alliance heading into the Triple Threat X-Division Title match with Trey Miguel at Rebellion.

Steve Maclin vs Alex Shelley w/ Chris Sabin

Steve Maclin has Chris Sabin and Jay White in his sights at Rebellion but before that, he must go one-on-one with Sabin’s tag team partner, Alex Shelley! Shelley hits a slingshot stomp to the hand of Maclin. Shelley attempts a baseball slide dropkick but Maclin avoids it and flies with the Scud Missile. Maclin remains in control with an Olympic Slam. Shelley is caught in the crosshairs as Maclin hits a running shoulder tackle in the corner. Shelley quickens the pace and takes Maclin off his feet with a clothesline. Shelley hits Sliced Bread for a very close near fall. Sabin checks on his partner at ringside following a vicious suplex on the apron. Shelley capitalizes off a confrontation between Sabin and Maclin, launching himself off a pole to hit another Sliced Bread.

Back in the ring, Maclin attempts a pin with his feet on the ropes but Sabin stops him. Shelley puts Maclin away with Shell Shock!

Gisele Shaw confronts Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Madison Rayne and has doubts about whether or not The Influence will continue to be successful without Kaleb With a K.

Honor No More, comprised of Eddie Edwards, Kenny King, Matt Taven, Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett, PCO and Vincent, make their way to the ring. Edwards gets on the mic and says that while some consider Philadelphia to have the most passionate fans in professional wrestling, he believes that they are the most fickle. Bennett and Taven go on to accuse the fans of turning their backs on Honor No More when the Bullet Club interrupts.

With revenge on their minds after Honor No More cost them the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles against Violent By Design, The Good Brothers call IMPACT Wrestling their house. The war of words continues as Kanellis says that Honor No More truly is “4 life”. Chris Bey challenges them to a fight and a massive brawl erupts in the 2300 Arena.

PCO brings the fight to a screeching halt when he takes out everyone with the De-animator off the top. JONAH comes to ringside and his match with PCO is next!

During the break, IMPACT officials clear out the members of Honor No More and the Bullet Club for this monstrous main event! JONAH crashes and burns as he collides with the steel post, followed by a neck breaker on the floor from PCO. Moments later, JONAH launches himself off the apron to gain control. JONAH hits a massive Buckle Bomb but PCO explodes out of the corner with a clothesline. JONAH hits the Tombstone Piledriver but PCO kicks out at one.

JONAH avoids the PCO-Sault and the De-Animator, causing PCO’s neck to collide with the hardest part of the ring. JONAH hits a thunderous Tsunami splash to win!

JONAH is shocked when PCO sits up after the match. JONAH attacks him with a steel chair, then hits another devastating Tsunami splash! JONAH exits the arena as PCO is laid out in the middle of the ring.
