Johnny Impact’s contract expired weeks ago per a report on PWInsider, but a deal was worked out to keep him working through Slammiversary. Impact lost an X-Division Championship match against Rich Swann. Negotiations are continuing to keep Impact with the company, but as of now he is allowed to negotiate with any company.
