Steve Maclin was legitimately injured early into the main event World Title Match with Mike Santana at Friday’s TNA Sacrifice, which took place at the The Alario Center in Westwego, Louisiana.
Maclin got rocked when Santana connected with a superkick.
According to PWInsider, the early belief is he may have suffered a concussion, but has not yet been confirmed at the time of their report. TNA President Carlos Silva and medical staff went to ringside to check on Maclin, after referee Alice Lane put of the X sign and stopped the match, which was ended in a no-contest. It was also said that Maclin seemed coherent backstage and upset about how things went.
Eddie Edwards, who has a future TNA World Title Match opportunity came out to brawl with Santana to give the fans something in place of the match being stopped, but Santana got the better of Edwards, putting him through a table.

TNA also announced during Sacrifice that European pro wrestling star Ricky Sosa has been signed by the company.
