Legitimate injury occurs at TNA Sacrifice; Quick results and other news from the show

Steve Maclin was legitimately injured early into the main event World Title Match with Mike Santana at Friday’s TNA Sacrifice, which took place at the The Alario Center in Westwego, Louisiana.

Maclin got rocked when Santana connected with a superkick.

According to PWInsider, the early belief is he may have suffered a concussion, but has not yet been confirmed at the time of their report. Referee Alice Lane put up the X sign, calling for the match to be stopped, which was then ended as a no-contest.  Eddie Edwards, who has a future TNA World Title opportunity ran out and brawled with Santana in order to try and give the fans something to make up for what was not expected to originally take place. Santana got the best of Edwards by putting him through a table.

PWInider also notes that Maclin appeared to be coherent backstage, but was upset about how things went down with the match.
