Dragon Gate USA and EVOLVE Wrestling sent this in.

Thank you for opening up and reading the DGUSA/EVOLVE Alerts. We will soon start calling this the WWNLive Alerts since we cover the entire WWNLive family including Dragon Gate USA, EVOLVE, SHINE and all our great iPPV partners. We are packed with info in this edition with the EVOLVE 17 live iPPV just a week and a half away, news on a major addition to WWNLive.com, a new Deal Of The Day and more. Lets get to it….

We need to congratulate and say “thank you” to Open The Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano. Today is the 280th day of his title reign, passing YAMATO’s incredible run. Gargano successfully defended the belt against Jonathan Gresham at a Fight Club: PRO event last weekend in the United Kingdom (this will be a bonus match on a future DGUSA or EVOLVE DVD release). This is the first time the DGUSA Title was defended in the UK and on the other side of the Atlanta Ocean. Gargano has proven to be an invaluable ambassador for the DGUSA and EVOLVE brands with this incredible title reign. It will be Gargano vs. Jon Davis in a non-title match at EVOLVE 17 on September 8th as each tries to climb the EVOLVE Leader Board.

The Road To WrestleCon for EVOLVE and Dragon Gate USA will officially begin at EVOLVE 17 on September 8th. “WrestleCon will be the biggest weekend in independent wrestling history,” Gabe Sapolsky of DGUSA and EVOLVE said. “We need to pave a trail starting at EVOLVE on September 8th to captivate, amaze and dazzle you leading to WrestleCon. The pro wrestling scene is wide open now. The fans are begging to be excited, passionate and emotionally invested in something again. We have a chance to grab you and suck you in as we head to WrestleCon. That road will start at EVOLVE 17.”

REMINDER: Tickets for all eight WrestleCon events including EVOLVE, CZW, Kaiju Big Battel, SHIMMER, CHIKARA, Dragon Gate USA and $5 Wrestling go on sale in one week on September 5th. Go to www.WrestleCon.com for the schedule and pricing, including all the info on the VIP tickets to get admittance to all eight events with the best seats at a discount.

EVOLVE 17 will take place on September 8th in Voorhees, NJ at the Flyers Skate Zone. This is a first class facility located just 10 minutes from Philadelphia and it is an easy drive from all over New Jersey, New York City and points south of Philly. Tickets are now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744. EVOLVE will start at 5pm as this is a double header with Combat Zone Wrestling so you can see two unique brands in one day (each show is a separate ticket). End the summer with a trip to see wrestling as a sport with EVOLVE and insanity with CZW.

Jigsaw vs. Lince Dorado has been added to EVOLVE on September 8th. These two masked wrestlers are looking to secure a top spot in EVOLVE and each desperately need a win on the live iPPV.

The voting continues to determine the EVOLVE 17 main event. Is it Ricochet vs. AR Fox or El Generico vs. Samuray Del Sol III? The voting will conclude with our next email blast this Friday. KAYFABE COMMENTARIES LAUNCHES ON-DEMAND SERVICE WITH WWNLIVE.COM

Kayfabe Commentaries, producers of shoot-style programming including the “YouShoot” and “Guest Booker” series, have launched their KC On Demand service today. The service is hosted by World Wrestling Network and allows for viewers to watch Kayfabe Commentaries’ releases, both new and older, instantly online.

The service launched today with the release of “Breaking Kayfabe with Jerome ‘New Jack’ Young”, which is available both on DVD today for $15, as well as online via KC On Demand for $10.

Also available on the new service today are KC recent releases like “Timeline: The History of WWE – 1995 – Told by Kevin Nash” and a couple of legacy titles including “YouShoot: Perry Saturn.”

Subscribers can sign up for their free WWNLive.com account and purchase the KC On Demand titles, which remain in the viewers online queue forever, allowing for unlimited and untimed viewing. KC president Sean Oliver says this is a key selling point of the service.

“In the past we’ve flirted with online rentals, which had time limits, and the service never seemed to fit exactly what our fans were craving,” Oliver began. “But now our fans can order the brand new Kayfabe Commentaries release, the day it comes out on DVD, and it will remain in your online library for as long as you keep your free WWN account.”

KC On Demand launched with seven titles today — two episodes of “Breaking Kayfabe” with Jerome Young and Sean Waltman, the aforementioned “Timeline WWE” with Kevin Nash, as well as the Fit Finlay edition, “YouShoot: Perry Saturn,” “Guest Booker with Gabe Sapolsky,” and “Wrestling’s Most Controversial Moment.” KC will be adding each of their new releases going forward, as well as adding the older legacy titles.

“Eventually, the entire KC library will be available On Demand, as we’ve committed to add a minimum of 32 releases annually to the service,” Oliver continued. He said this firmly places KC on track with their “web 2.0” goals.

They will continue producing DVDs as well. Oliver said there is still a massive demand for hard DVD sales in this niche, based on their research. “We understand the desires of both the online KC junkie that demands their access immediately, as well as the collector who prefers their DVD shelf be complete and actually have hard, tangible ownership of their programming. And we will be servicing each of those fans.”

World Wrestling Network Inc has been a successful venture into online pro wrestling programming, first featuring Evolve and Dragon Gate USA iPPV and On Demand events. Sal Hamaoui of WWN was pleased to have sealed the deal with Kayfabe Commentaries and their programs.

“WWNLive is excited to be working with such an innovative and passionate company like Kayfabe Commentaries,” Hamaoui said. “They have revolutionized shoot-style interviews and taken it to a whole new level of professionalism not seen anywhere else. They truly are the leader in this field and we very much look forward to bringing all their cutting edge releases to Video-On-Demand.”

Fans can check out the service at http://wwnlive.com/ondemand.html. For fans who would like to purchase the DVD of today’s new release “Breaking Kayfabe with Jerome Young” you can visit www.KayfabeCommentaries.com.
