According to a new report from PWInsider, Will Ospreay may have suffered an ankle injury or possibly a broken heel during last night’s IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match against Hiromu Takahashi at night one of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 14.
It appears the injury may have occurred when Ospreay pulled off a Sasuke Special during the match.
As of this report the severity of Osprey’s injury has not been officially confirmed.
Takahashi defeated Ospreay, winning the title for a third time.
Ospreay posted to Twitter a picture of himself (see below) on a couch holding a stuffed animal pig with a pink blanket and another stuffed animal pig with the caption of “Sad Pig.”
