Former WWE Superstar and Tag Team Champion Darren Young announced earlier today on Twitter, under his real name of Fred Dosser III, that he will be making his debut with New Japan Pro Wrestling on September 4.
In 2005 and 2006, Young made several appearances on Sunday Night Heat and Velocity, and wrestled in dark matches on Raw and SmackDown. In May 2009, he was signed by WWE to a developmental contract.
During 2010 and 2011, Young was part of the Nexus faction, and then went on to be part of the Prime Time Players between 2012 and 2014.
Young was released from his WWE contract on October 29, 2017.
