Mercedes Moné posted a story on her Instagram account with a small update on her recovery from an injury sustained on May 22.
The post contains the text “Day 6 recovery” and a picture of the former WWE star’s foot in a cast, indicating this was taken on the sixth day of recovering from a recent foot surgery.
The injury, reportedly a broken ankle, seemed to occur during the main event of NJPW STRONG Resurgence between Moné and Willow Nightingale, the finals of a tournament to crown the first-ever NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion.
