The annual tradition of New Japan Pro Wrestling at the Tokyo Dome on January 4 continues in 2024 with Wrestle Kingdom 18, and during the second night of the NJPW STRONG events in Korakuen Hall the logo was revealed.
New Japan’s history of a January 4 show at the Dome goes as far back as 1992 with Super Warriors in Tokyo Dome, followed by various names including a series known as Wrestling World before the first-ever Wrestle Kingdom was held on January 4, 2007.
The event would have additional nights added as of the past three years, but would always have January 4 as the first and primary night of their respective cards.
