WWE dark match results from the event at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX, on March 17: in a pre-show match, Jimmy Wang Yang over Eric Escobar; in a post-show main event, Edge over Jeff Hardy to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Title, with interference from Matt Hardy.

It is now official for WrestleMania: WWE World Tag Team Champions John Morrison & the Miz versus WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo Colon, in a match to unify the titles.

WWE has announced the following events: May 22, RAW at the Qwest Arena in Boise, ID; and May 25, at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. Tickets go on sale April 10 for Boise, while Denver tickets become available April 11.

The program for this card featured an advertisement from Ramon Torres, who was looking to sell his 1964 Cadillac. It also featured a photo of Lou Thesz with actress Yvonne DeCarlo. Paul Jones reported in the program that NWA President Sam Muchnick had ordered Gene Kiniski to defend the NWA World Heavyweight Title in Atlanta against Thesz, and that Kiniski was trying to dodge the match, claiming Muchnick and Jones were trying desperately to get the title off of him. Kiniski had been the reigning champion since he defeated Thesz on January 7, 1966, in St. Louis, MO. It was announced that Mr. Wrestling would be wrestling in Atlanta soon.
