The ratings for the newly relaunched XFL weekend games are now in.
The XFL had four games this past weekend which aired between ABC and FOX.
As per our previous report, the 2020 kickoff game that aired on ABC on Saturday featuring the DC Defenders vs. the Seattle Dragons averaged 3.3 million viewers, and scored a 2.07 rating.
The final attendance for this game held at Audi Field was 17,163 fans.
FOX aired the second game on Saturday with the Houston Roughnecks hosting the LA Wildcats. The game averaged 3.29 million viewers, and had a final 1.91 rating.
The final attendance for this game held at TDECU Stadium drew 17,815 fans.
The first game on Sunday between the Tampa Bay Vipers and New York Guardians which aired on FOX drew the biggest audience of the weekend with 3.385 million viewers and a 2.10 rating,
The final attendance at MetLife Stadium was 17,634 fans.
The final game of the opening weekend that aired on ESPN with the Dallas Renegades taking on the St. Louis BattleHawks at Globe Life Park in Arlington, scored the lowest audience of the weekend with 2.495 million viewers, and a 1.43 rating
The final attendance at Glode Life Park was 17,026 fans.
Between all the four of the games, the XFL averaged 3.12 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The Washington Times noted that while the debut numbers for the newly launched XFL was nowhere near the 16.5 million viewers the NFL averaged per game during its 2019 regular season, it topped the 1.99 million viewers per game the NBA averaged last year during its regular season.

– NY Guardians vs. DC Defenders airing on ABC beginning at 2:00 pm ET.
– Seattle Dragons vs. Tampa Bay Vipers airing on ABC beginning at 5:00 pm ET.
– Dallas Renegades vs. LA Wildcats airing on ABC beginning at 3:00 pm ET.
– St. Louis BattleHawks vs. Houston Roughnecks airing on FS1 beginnnig at 6:00 pm ET.
