GLOW nominated for three Emmy Awards including Outstanding Supporting Actress

GLOW, the critically acclaimed series on Netflix about the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling promotion, has been nominated for three 2020 Emmy Awards.

It was revealed today that actress Betty Gilpin, who portrays Liberty Bell on the show, has been nominated for “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.” This is her second nomination in a row for the role. Here is the full list of nominees for the category:

The show was also nominated for “Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour)” and “Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama (Half-Hour).”

In 2018, the show won two Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half-Hour or Less)” and “Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Comedy Series or Variety Program.”

The third season of GLOW was released in August 2019. It has been confirmed that the series was picked up for a fourth and final season, though the release date is not known.
