Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed his purchase of the XFL through his social media account.
As we reported earlier, Dwayne Johnson, along with RedBird Capital, had reportedly purchased the XFL for $15 million. Johnson has since confirmed the purchase as he tweeted out the following:
With my trail blazing partner @DanyGarciaCo & Red Bird Capital, we have acquired the XFL.
With gratitude & passion I’ve built a career with my own two hands and will apply these callouses to our @xfl2020 brand.
