Audio: “The Teacher’s Lounge” for 10/15/11

The latest edition of “The Teacher’s Lounge” for Saturday, October 15, 2011 with hosts Dave Stephens (Raw recapper and Wrestleview columnist) and Anthony Valvo (Wrestleview columnist) is now streaming on the Wrestleview Radio Network.

Topics covered for this week’s edition of The Teacher’s Lounge for October 15:

Title: “Roll Tide II: Christmas in Dixie”

* Dave and Mr. V go over the news of the week, and in “The Big Picture” we went over Johnny Ace as the Interim GM of Raw, why Austin is correct on saying Cena is the anchor of the WWE, Hogan not having many friends after a show in Allentown, PA, and what is going on with John Morrison’s contract.

* In “The Small Picture”, Dave and Mr. V quickly go over Ric Flair’s injury, Crimson saying that he is not Goldberg, WWE ’12 and Brock Lesnar, Wrestleview’s latest poll, Dr. Xtreme’s unfortunate death, ROH’s main event for Glory by Honor, TNA Wrestling losing a big supporter, WWE Stars in “Family BrainSurge”, Jeff Hardy’s time in prison, and we gave kudos to Wrestleview Radio for having Kevin Nash as a guest.

* We had two TMZ Useless Stories of the Week. One was the “hoopla” over Brock Lesnar’s character in a WWE game (obviously, Dana White was ok with it) and the other was Tomko’s arrest.

* After our “Detentions” we did some “Title, Job, Fire” in our Game Time section, all of which were from Trent Harrington. Update: We will be doing more games in the coming weeks.

* Wrestleview Impact Wrestling recapper and Viva La Raza columnist Josh Boutwell joined the show to provide predictions for TNA Bound for Glory with Dave and Mr. V. V is NOT picking Kurt Angle to win. Find out why in this episode.

* After some “Rolling of the Tides”, Dave and Mr. V got an e-mail and went over John Cena and if there is a chance he can turn heel before next year’s Wrestlemania.

* We ended the show on a positive note, as we handed out our “Gold Stars” for the week.

* All this and so much more!
