Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has announced that they will hold their next event in August.
The promotion will hold TWENTY: Mystery Vortex on Sunday, August 13. A location has not yet been announced.
The theme of the Mystery Vortex show is that no matches or talent are announced until wrestlers head to the ring for the match. This will also be PWG’s twentieth anniversary event, as their first show took place in July of 2003.
This will also be PWG’s first event since they held the Battle of Los Angeles tournament, back on January 7 and 8 of this year. IMPACT star Mike Bailey won the tournament by defeating Konosuke Takeshita. The Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, Sammy Guevara, and Daniel Garcia) defeated Evil Uno, Jonathan Gresham, Kevin Blackwood, Michael Oku, and SB KENTO.
