The sports drama ‘The Iron Claw’ starring Zack Efron and Jeremy Allen White has a release date set for December 22, according to Variety.
The film, written and directed by Sean Durkin, takes a look at the story of the Von Erich family, famous for their impact on professional wrestling and infamous for the series of tragedies that befell them in their personal lives.
The IMDb page for the film gives further insight into the full cast, including current AEW World Champion MJF taking on the role of Lance Von Erich, famously (or infamously) a non-biological “member” of the wrestling dynasty.
The A24-financed film is produced in collaboration between the studio and House Productions, with Access Entertainment and BBC Film also financing the project.
