Prestige Wrestling announced on social media Tuesday evening that The Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California, which has been the home to top independent wrestling promotions, including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla venue currently available to promotions in Los Angeles, has closed immediately without any warning.
The Globe Theater also hosted New Japan Pro Wrestling and the first-ever IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United and many other wrestling events. The venue’s website has already been shut down. The Globe originally opened back in 1913.
As of this writing, there is no information as to why the venue closed permanently.
