Social media accounts for the brand recently posted a teaser that became quite a talking point, with their website even indicating the possibility of live events in the future.
Despite this, the report notes the “recent buzz” was to get “people talking ahead of a YouTube channel going live with Lucha Underground content.”
Amazon MGM currently holds a controlling interest in the property, with sources stating that the company is happy with the library and not particularly interested in selling it despite past inquiries.
The brand’s YouTube channel recently uploaded the first two episodes of the series in their entirety.
