A video package airs focusing on Abyss’ recent actions on Impact attacking Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson and his warning that “they” are coming and told him what to do.
A graphic opening hits welcoming us to TNA Victory Road. We go live to the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios where a series of pyro goes off.
Out first is Brian Kendrick to kick off the show.
TNA X Division Championship – Ultimate X/Submission Rules
Douglas Williams (c) vs. Brian Kendrick
Williams tried to climb up on the top rope right away, but decided against it. Tenay mentioned Williams’ fear of heights. They are rocking the red, white and blue ropes tonight. Lots of quick offense by Williams early on with a series of knees and elbows in the corner. Williams executes a snap suplex into a chin lock bridge on Williams. Williams transitions into a front headlock on Kendrick. Kendrick takes a knee to the gut when he broke free, but dodged a tornado DDT attempt from Williams. Kendrick with a dropkick and attempts a rear naked choke. Williams shrugs Kendrick away and catches him with a kick to the head coming off the ropes. Williams grounds Kendrick with a head scissors submission. Williams with a hangmans headlock on Kendrick. Kendrick fires back with a series of dropkicks and tries to take the back of Williams again. Both get up on the top turnbuckle and Williams is able to hit a big back suplex on Kendrick. Kendrick and Williams brawl to the outside and both start climbing up the steel truss holding up the Ultimate X cables. Williams drops Kendrick down over the top rope. Williams jumps down quickly with Taz referencing his fear of heights again. Williams takes out some gloves and slaps them across the face of Kendrick. Williams rolls back in the ring and puts the gloves off. Williams starts climbing up the top turnbuckle, gets on the steel truss and starts going across the cables. Kendrick is back up and is close behind. Kendrick jumps on the cable and gets near Williams. Kendrick wraps his legs around the body of Douglas and pulls him down. Both come down and it looks like Kendrick took the worse of the fall. Williams sees what happened and quickly locks on a modified rear naked choke. The referee checks on the arm of Kendrick once, twice and a third time. Kendrick is out and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner & STILL TNA X Division Champion: Douglas Williams
After the match, we see highlights of the match leading to the finish. TNA security and referee Brian Hebner check on Kendrick and give him some smelling salts to wake him back up.
At the broadcast booth, Mike Tenay and Taz discuss the rest of the card tonight including Rob Van Dam defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson and Abyss later tonight.
Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Brother Ray. Ray cuts off Christy saying he knows what she is going to ask. He said Jesse Neal is a failure, just like Christy’s edition of Playboy. Ray said he is a failure to his family and even his dead friend. He said Jesse will continue to be a failure after tonight. Ray said it would be in Brother Devon’s best interest to stay out his business. He said he is Team 3D and always will be.
Brother Ray vs. Jesse Neal vs. Brother Devon
During Brother Ray’s entrance, Ray walked to the side of the stage and started hiding. When Jesse Neal was making his entrance, Ray ran down and attacked him. The Team 3D music played again and no Brother Devon. We then see a camera shot backstage where Devon was locked in his locker room. The bell rings as Ray tosses Neal in the ring and the fans boo loudly. Ray starts dropping forearms over the head of Neal and then drops an elbow. Ray chops Neal across the chest in the corner. Ray then starts slapping the back of Neal with force. Ray with a scoop slam and attempts another elbow drop, but Neal rolls out of the way. Ray fires back with a high back body drop. Ray with a body splash on Neal and big boot combo. We then see Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Stevie Richards and Raven appearing in the crowd. The crowd starts a loud “ECW” chant. Brother Ray looks on and yells, “What are you doing here?” Neal then levels Ray with a big spear and gets a close two count. Neal then mounts Ray and drops some big elbows. Ray fights back hitting Neal with a big elbow and then grabs a steel chair. Shannon Moore starts running down the ramp and the referee holds him back. With the referee’s back turned, Ray cracks a steel chair over the back of Neal and Neal grabs his back in pain. The referee sends Moore to the back. The Team 3D music hits again and Brother Devon is free from his locker room. Devon gets in Ray’s face. They both look down at Neal. Ray attempts a cheap shot, but Devon blocks it. Ray and Devon exchange lefts and rights. Neal goes for a spear and catches Devon. Ray then drops neal in a Bubba Bomb and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Brother Ray
After the match, Brother Ray celebrates his victory as Brother Devon looks on in confusion. The fans continue a loud “ECW” chant as we see Dreamer, Rhino, Raven and Richards in the crowd.
TNA Knockouts Championship
If Angelina Love loses, her career is over
Madison Rayne (c) vs. Angelina Love
The bell rings and we get lots of back and forth offense between the two ladies. Rayne is the first to drop Love. Love responds with clotheslines and a big shoulder tackle on Rayne. Love clotheslines Rayne on the outside floor when Rayne bailed out. Love tosses Rayne back in and hits another big tackle. Rayne rakes the eyes of Love and tosses her face first into the corner. Rayne grabs Love by the hair and tosses her face first into the opposite corner. Rayne with the scissors stomp on Love. Love fights back with a clothesline on Rayne followed by a jaw breaker. Love with a series of takedowns and a big spinning kick. Rayne responds dropping Love head first over her knee. Rayne leaves the ring and grabs a steel chair. Love kicks it right in the face of Rayne in front of the referee. It looks like the referee is going to allow it. We then see a woman riding a motorcycle pulling up near the ringside area. The woman is wearing a motorcycle helmet and leather. The mystery woman grabs Love and tosses her into the steel ring post. The referee calls for the bell. The referee speaks with Jeremy Borash and gives him the decision. Jeremy Borash announces that the referee has ruled that due to outside interference from The Beautiful People, Angelina Love is now the new TNA Knockouts Champion.

After the match, Madison Rayne argues with the referee. Tenay and Taz mention that we still don’t know if the mystery person was actually someone from The Beautiful People. Angelina Love is handed the TNA Knockouts Championship and celebrates.
Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Mr. Anderson. Anderson teases he is going to talk down Christy like Brother Ray did earlier. Anderson jokes about RVD, Hardy and Abyss. He said tonight is about the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
If Styles and Kazarian win, they earn a spot in Ric Flair’s “Fortune” group
AJ Styles & Kazarian vs. Samoa Joe & TNA Global Champion Rob Terry
We start with AJ Styles and Rob Terry. Styles then tags Kazarian in right away. Terry with a huge shoulder block on Kazarian right away. Joe jumps down, hits a few jabs on Kazarian and drills Styles with a superkick when he gets near the area. Terry tosses Kazarian into the corner, tags in Joe and Joe goes on the attack in the corner on Kazarian. The crowd starts a loud “JOE’S GONNA KILL YOU” chant. Joe tags in Terry and Kazarian tags in Styles. Terry grabs Styles and tosses him over the top rope. Kazarian jumps in and Terry also sends him over the top rope. Joe gets in the ring, Terry launches him at the ropes, Joe bounces off and hits a huge suicide dive into Styles and Kazarian. Back in the ring, Joe hits a shoulder charge and kick to the head combo. Styles rakes the eyes of Joe and Styles spits in the face of Terry. Kazarian with a sling shot DDT over Joe. Tag to Styles who works over Joe in the corner. Styles with a snapmare into a reverse chinlock on Joe. Joe fought to his feet and lifted up Styles trying to tag in Terry. Kazarian jumps in, takes out Terry and clips Styles’ legs to the side to drop Joe in a huge DDT. Joe counters a Styles Clash attempt and then runs right into a Pele Kick from Styles. Styles charges and Joe drops Styles in the corner with his huge takedown. Tag to Terry who drops Kazarian and takes a shot from Styles. Terry hits a high back body drop on Kazarian and gives Styles a huge military press slam. Terry with a fallaway slam on Kazarian and a suplex drop into a shoulder and press slam. Joe jumps in and starts chopping Kazarian. Joe with a running knee on Kazarian, gets him up for a Muscle Buster and Desmond Wolfe runs out. Wolfe holds the legs of Joe and pulls him out. Kazarian jumps down and takes out Joe. In the ring, Wolfe runs in and Terry clotheslines him. Styles and Kazarian with a springboard flying forearm and springboard dropkick combo. Styles with a springboard 450 Splash on Terry and they get the pinfall. Styles and Kazarian are now in Fortune.
Winners: AJ Styles & Kazarian
After the match, Desmond Wolfe goes to celebrate with AJ Style and Kazarian. They seem to blow him off and Samoa Joe is back in. Styles and Kazarian bail to the ramp. Joe attacks Wolfe and drops him with a huge Muscle Buster. We see a shot of Styles and Kazarian throwing up the Four Horseman gesture.
Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Abyss. Abyss is showing off his 2×4 with spikes and nails saying he will introduce “his girl” to Rob Van Dam, Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy tonight.
Steel Cage Match
Matt Morgan vs. Hernandez
Hernandez went after Matt Morgan right away when Morgn went for the door. Hernandez tosses Morgan face first into the side of the cage a few times. Morgan misses a body splash and Hernandez crotched Morgan over the top rope. Hernandez with an impressive springboard dropkick on Morgan. Hernandez body splashes Morgan two times against the cage. When he attempts this a third time, Morgan moves out of the way and Hernandez hits his shoulder with force into the side of the cage. Morgan now starts throwing Hernandez into the side of the cage a few times. Morgan drops Hernandez with a clothesline when Hernandez attempted a comeback. Morgan with his right and left elbow shots to Hernandez in the corner. Hernandez lifts himself up to the top turnbuckle, but Morgan catches him with the Carbon Footprint. Morgan teases he is going to climb out of the cage, but instead opens up the door. Morgan gets one foot on the ramp, but he stops himself and gets back in the ring with Hernandez. Hernandez is now busted open at this point and rakes the face of Hernandez across the steel. Morgan drops a few right hands trying to bloody Hernandez some more. Morgan shows off his bloody hand and puts some of it across his chest. Hernandez fights back dropping Morgan with a clothesline and body splash in the corner. Hernandez attempts a powerbomb or Border Toss, but Morgan is too much for Hernandez to lift up. Morgan misses a charge, Hernandez lifts up Morgan, almost gets him up and instead drops him in a powerbomb. Hernandez signals he is going up top. Hernandez climbs up, stands high, jumps and Morgan rolls out of the way. Morgan grabs a t-shirt that he brought with him and pulls out handcuffs. Morgan handcuffs one arm of Hernandez to the ropes. Morgan climbs up to the top of the cage and is taunting Hernandez. Hernandez then breaks free of the handcuffs, Morgan is surprised and Hernandez takes off crashing through the steel cage door before Morgan can jump down.
Winner: Hernandez
After the match, Matt Morgan jumps down and can’t believe it. Hernandez is grabbing the top of his head in pain as the referee checks on him. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish.
Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Ric Flair. Flair said Jay Lethal has made a career decision and that will set him back many years. He said Ric Flair is the only reason there is a sport called pro wrestling. Flair said 39 years of stylin’ and profilin’, he will do what he does best tonight and will make an example out of Jay Lethal. He said he will send Lethal crying back home to his momma who will have to breast feed him back to life.
Ric Flair vs. Jay Lethal
Lock up and Lethal goes right for the headlock. Lethal drops Flair with a quick shoulder block. Lock up and Flair goes to the headlock. Flair drops Lethal with a shoulder block and Lethal fires back with dropkick. Lethal with a high back body drop on Flair and follows with a clothesline over the top rope. Lethal suplexes Flair back in the ring and catches him with a small dropkick to the chest. Lethal up top and catches Flair with another big dropkick. Flair then rakes the eye of Lethal to slow things down. Flair with a series of chops to Lethal in the corner. Lethal turns things around and starts chopping Flair. We get the Flair flop after he leaves the corner. Flair goes up top and Lethal hits a few chops. Lethal with a superplex on Flair off the top turnbuckle! Lethal goes up top and misses a moonsault attempt. Flair starts stomping over the leg of Lethal. Flair with a chop block on Lethal who starts to strut a bit around the ring. Flair signals it is Figure Four time and gets it locked in. Flair uses the ropes for leverage with the referee not looking. Referee Earl Hebner finally catches Flair. Flair gets in Hebner’s face and Lethal gets a close two count with a rollup. More chops from Flair in the corner. Lethal catches Flair with a flying forearm followed by a handspring flying elbow. Right hands and chops from Lethal to Flair. Lethal hits the corner and lands on his feet on the ring apron. Flair is pissed off. Lethal with a sunset flip attempt and Lethal pulls down the trunks of Flair to moon the crowd. Lethal fires back with a crossbody and splash from the corner over the knees of Flair. Flair lets out a loud, “Oh sh*t!” Lethal with a chop block on Flair. Lethal then locks on the Figure Four. Flair taps out.
Winner: Jay Lethal
After the match, Jay Lethal is overcome with emotion for his victory over Ric Flair. Flair gets on his feet and gets in the face of referee Earl Hebner. Hebner pushes Flair away. Flair rolls out. Lethal grabs a mic and yells, “Hey mom, I did it!”
Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Jeff Hardy. Hardy said he will fly high tonight and become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
Match to crown new TNA World Tag Team Champions
Beer Money vs. The Motor City Machineguns
We start with James Storm and Alex Shelley. Lock up and Storm pushes Shelley into the corner. Shelley with a few elbows to Storm. Storm with a shoulder block on Shelley. Shelley responds with an atomic drop and head scissors takedown. Tag to Robert Roode. Tag also to Chris Sabin. Roode with big right hands to Sabin. The Guns double team Beer Money with a series of dropkicks. More double teaming from The Guns with Shelley the legal man. Tag to Sabin who hits a leap frog sledgehammer. Tag to Storm who drops a big forearm over the back of Sabin. We get more double teaming by The Guns. Storm grounds the action with a snapmare on Shelley. We get a “BEER!” and “MONEY!” spot from Roode and Storm. Tag to Roode who hits a gutbuster over the knee on Shelley. Tag to Storm who goes to work on the ribs of Shelley after that gutbuster. Roode tags himself in and tries to cut Shelley off, but Shelley drops him with a drop toe hold. Hot tag to Sabin who takes out both Storm and Roode with a dropkick and tornado DDT combo. Sabin punts the head of Storm on the ring apron and hits a crossbody for a close two count on Roode. Sabin dropkicks the back of Roode as Shelley drops Roode into the corner face first. Shelley with Sliced Bread #2 on Roode and Storm breaks up the pinfall. Storm drops Shelley off the top rope. Sabin chops and punches both Roode and Storm. Sabin jumps at Roode who catches him and tosses him at Storm who hits the Eye of the Storm. Storm catches Shelley with a facebuster. The Guns double team Roode with kicks. Storm drops The Guns with a double clothesline. Shelley catches Storm with a big kick to the head on the ring apron that Sabin follows up with a springboard crossbody. Roode slingshots himself over the top rope into Sabin. Shelley with a suicide dive into Roode. The Guns double team kick Roode in the corner. Storm has a beer bottle. Storm crotches Shelley and spits the beer into the face of the referee by accident. Shelley stands back up and hits a body splash on Roode. Close two count for Shelley when referee Earl Hebner runs down. The Guns attack Roode in the corner. Sabin hits a dive on Storm. Shelley is up top and hits a crossbody that Roode rolls through for a close two count. The Guns drop Roode with a dropkick. Storm drops Shelley. Sabin pins Roode, while Storm pins Shelley. A three count goes down between both pinfalls. Referee Earl Hebner and referee Brian Hebner argue. Earl informs Jeremy Borash that the match will be restarted.
Here we go again. Storm misses a charge in the corner. Shelley catches Roode with a superkick. Shelley drops Storm with a backcracker in the corner. Shelley comes off the top rope as Sabin holds up Roode. Shelley connects with a body splash and covers Roode for the pinfall.

After the match, both Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin celebrate with the TNA World Tag Team Championships in hand.
#10 Kurt Angle vs. #8 “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero
Lock up and Angle pushes Pope to the corner. The referee breaks it up and the two exchange headlocks and snapmare takedowns. Angle keeps Pope grounded with a big headlock. Pope fights to his feet and Angle drops him with a shoulder block. Pope with a series of hip tosses on Angle. Pope with some big offense and Angle bails to the outside to regroup. Pope opens the ropes to allow Angle back in and claps for him. Angle then steps forward, hits a kick to the gut and powerbombs Pope into the corner. Angle with a quick snap suplex on Pope. Angle with a big knee to the gut on Pope and presses his forearm over the face of Pope during a pinfall attempt. The two exchange shots on their feet. Pope gets the better of it with a clothesline and a series of elbows to the head. Pope with a german suplex on Angle, Angle blocks a second, but Pope drops Angle with a trip/clothesline combo. Angle is back up and drops Pope with one german suplex, a second german and a third with a release. Pope counters an Angle Slam attempt and drops Angle into the ropes sliding his body over his back and head to the outside. Pope goes up top, Angle jumps up and executes a huge belly-to-belly suplex off the top turnbuckle. Angle goes shoulder first into the corner when Pope moved. Pope with a facebuster on Angle for a close two count. Angle Slam on Pope, cover and Pope gets a shoulder up after two. Angle with the ankle lock applied on Pope. Pope is close to the ropes and Angle pulls him back out to the middle of the ring. Pope with a rollup for a close two count. Pope counters a sunset flip into a pinfall that Angle counters and rolls over into an ankle lock. Pope taps.
Winner: Kurt Angle
After the match, Kurt Angle helps up “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero and they hug.
Backstage, Christy Hemme is with TNA World Champion Rob Van Dam. RVD says he trusts no one tonight, especially “The Monster” Abyss and his 2×4 full of spikes and nails.
TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Rob Van Dam (c) vs. Abyss vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy
Jeremy Borash did the ring introductions for the challengers Mr. Anderson, Abyss, Jeff Hardy and champion Rob Van Dam. The bell rings and Abyss remains on the outside looking in. Abyss gets up on the ring apron and RVD, Hardy and Anderson go in for the attack. Anderson, Hardy and RVD exchange turns hitting right hands on Abyss in the corner. Hardy splashes Abyss. Anderson follows. RVD is next and gives Abyss a monkey flip. Hardy with a flip dive jumping off the back of RVD to take out Abyss with help from Anderson. Anderson with a close rollup for a two count on RVD. RVD with a big spin kick to Anderson. Abyss trips up RVD when he was hitting the ropes and tosses him into the steel guard railing. Anderson and Hardy double team Abyss. RVD gets in some offense on Hardy and then jumps over the top rope to take out Abyss. Hardy is out next taking out Abyss as well. Anderson gets up on the top turnbuckle and drops a sledgehammer over the head of Abyss. RVD with a split leg moonsault over Anderson back in the ring. RVD with a big spin kick to the jaw of Hardy. Anderson crotches RVD up on the top turnbuckle. Hardy jumps up with Anderson. Abyss is now under them. Big Tower of Doom spot from the corner involving all four men. RVD with some big kicks on Abyss. RVD with a big kick to Anderson and corner clothesline on Hardy. RVD comes off the top with a big kick to the head of Abyss. RVD is back up top and Anderson tosses him off into the entrance ramp. Hardy with a big flipping dive from the corner on Abyss, covers and Anderson breaks it up. Anderson with a Mic Check on Abyss and Hardy breaks up the pinfall. Abyss with a Black Hole Slam on Hardy. Anderson pulls the referee out to break up the pinfall. Hardy tosses Abyss through the ropes to the outside. Hardy and Anderson go at it in what Taz describes as a hockey fight. Hardy blocks a Mic Check and Anderson blocks a Twist of Fate attempt. Hardy then backs off, waits and drops Anderson with a Twist of Fate. Hardy connects with the Swanton on Anderson. Abyss then chokeslams Hardy over Anderson. Abyss covers Hardy and RVD comes off the top hitting a Five Star Frog Splash. RVD covers Anderson and gets the pinfall. Wow, crowd in Orlando is beyond dead for this main event.
Winner & STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Rob Van Dam
After the match, Rob Van Dam is handed the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and celebrates his win. Abyss then levels RVD from behind. Abyss then grabs his 2×4 covered in spikes and nails. Abyss goes to hit RVD with it, but RVD rolls out of the way and looks on as the PPV goes off the air.
