We open up in the ring with Virgil, called “Soul Train Jones,” in the ring with a bunch of presents and a huge framed portrait of The Inner Circle. There are several inflatable cartoon characters around the ring and a marching band on the ramp.

Virgil introduces Jericho and he is welcomed by the band. The fans chant “thank you Jericho,” but Jericho quickly shuts them down and insults them until they boo him. Jericho says the people in Chicago don’t matter and the “thank you” he wants is from the AEW “brass” and TNT. Jericho says under some of the fan’s chairs is a 50 cent off coupon for his new AEW shirt.

Jericho holds up a wine bottle and says that they have created the official “Little Bit of the Bubbly,” which is on sale now on www.littlebitofthebubbly.com. Jericho and Virgil share a glass and then he introduces the Inner Circle.

PNP and Guevara come out with a basket of goodies but Jake Hager is nowhere to be found. Guevara calls Jericho his father figure and then unveils a huge cutout of himself and Jericho hugging as a gift.

PNP give Jericho the basket that they call a “Boricua gift basket” that includes some Vick’s chest rub since it’s “flu season” and some flip flops and a 40 ounce in a brown paper bag. “A little bit of the 40,” they say together. Ortiz puts a Puerto Rican bandana on Jericho’s head and Santana says he’s now officially a Boricua.

Jericho asks where Hager is and he walks out with a damn goat on a leash. Hager says it’s named “Chris JeriGOAT.” So, a goat for the GOAT?

PNP unbox a huge gift in the ring and under it is Jericho’s father wearing his New York Rangers’ jersey. “It’s so great to be back in New York City,” Jericho’s father says to a huge chorus of boos. A big “Black Hawks” chant breaks out and Jericho’s father says the Rangers used to beat the hell out of the Black Hawks all the time. “The Chicago Black Hawks were and always will be wimps,” he says. Jericho’s father opens up a big gym bag filled with custom Rangers’ jerseys for the Inner Circle.

Jericho holds up what he says is an official thank you from AEW and TNT management and he invites Justin Roberts into the ring to read it for him as the fans chant “you can’t read” at Jericho. AEW and TNT thank Jericho in the letter and suck up to him. Jericho says he didn’t like Roberts’ tone while he read it.

The Inner Circle bully Roberts and Jericho slaps him and then they beat him down. SCU was disguised as members of the band and they hit the ring and chase Inner Circle off before beating Virgil down.

Marco Sous Martinez is doing commentary with Excalibur and Jim Ross tonight as Tony Schiavone is working elsewhere.
