Wardlow comes out with some big standup cutouts of MJF beating CM Punk and sets them up in the ring. Wardlow gave Justin Roberts a note and he introduces FTR and Tully Blanchard followed by Spears and then MJF. Tony Schiavone points out that everyone but Wardlow got an entrance. MJF is carried out to the ring on a damn throne. He also makes out with one of the women that accompany him to the ring.

MJF says he proved without a doubt last week he is the best wrestler on the planet. He runs down the names of guys like Bryan Danielson, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and Adam Cole and says that everyone is looking at the best in the world. He says he just beat Punk in Chicago, so that means he’s better than the best in the world. MJF says last week was actually bitter sweet because as he was laying on top of Punk a lot of emotion came over him because he realized he beat someone he grew up watching.

MJF says he whispered heartwarming words into Punk’s ear after the match, “you suck.” He says that he wouldn’t have been able to defeat Punk without Shawn Spears helping him warm up before the match. Spears says he got MJF a gift and presents a new shirt that is available to buy that says “Better than the Best in the World.” MJF says that it’s time for him to get his world title shot.

CM Punk walks out and says that MJF’s win was about as suspect as his spray tan. Punk says that he doesn’t like to ask for help but he’s learned from his mistakes and has some backup. Sting and Darby Allin walk out carrying bats. Punk says either he gets what he wants or they will beat it out of them. Punk demands a rematch but Punk says he doesn’t deserve a rematch. Punk says he isn’t talking to MJF, he’s talking to the guy that actually beat him Wardlow. He says that if it wasn’t for Wardlow no one in the Pinnacle would never win anything.

Dax Harwood suggests they do a rematch from the trios match they had a few weeks ago and MJF says instead of that if Punk and a partner of his choosing can beat FTR then he will give Punk any match he wants any time and any place. The stipulation is that partner can’t be Sting or Allin.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

In the back, Andrade meets with Sting and Allin. Andrade introduces himself to Sting and says everyone knows “this kid” works for him. Sting says he’s not a kid and if he has an issue with Allin then he should speak to him on his own. Allin says he has bigger things to do than work for Andrade, like win back the TNT Title. Andrade says that they have something in common, Allin is a former TNT Champion but Andrade is the next TNT Champion.

In a vignette, Penta is shown arriving at a graveyard. Alex narrates the video as Penta digs up his old Pentagon Dark mask and says that it is time for “Penta Oscura” (aka Penta Dark) to rise.

Chris Jericho comes out with Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager and says that he hasn’t seen Santana or Otiz all day, which brings them out to the ring with their own music. Jericho says that PNP embarrassed him during their trios match a few weeks ago and they robbed his fans of seeing him in the ring that night. He asks what their problem is.

Santana says “enough of this corny shit” and says that Jericho only cares about himself. He says any fight they’ve had has always been for the betterment of Jericho. Santana says any time they’ve had a little bit of spotlight on themselves it gets shut down and thrown to the side so they can come to his rescue. Santana says they came out man-to-man to tell Jericho the days of PNP playing second fiddle are over and done with. Santana keeps cutting Jericho off saying he isn’t done talking. He says that Jericho has been standing in their way making sure they didn’t get a bigger spotlight than him. He tells Jericho to thank Ortiz because if it wasn’t for him he would have dropped Jericho a long time ago.

Jericho says that Santana is a lot like Eddie Guerrero in terms of his temper but he says Eddie Kingston is getting in his head. He says that Jericho got them Main Events and better spots and money than they ever had. Jericho reminds PNP that they got a shot at the Tag Titles last year and lost and that has nothing to do with him. Jericho says he can kick them out of the Inner Circle and says that maybe he invited the wrong two members of LAX to join. He asks Hager if he has Hernandez and Homicide’s numbers causing Santana to go after him.

Sammy Guevara gets between them but Jericho tells him to shut the hell up. Sammy says they are all like brothers to him but he wants to be the greatest TNT Champion in AEW and all this bickering isn’t helping him. He takes off his Inner Circle jacket and says that he has quit this group before and unless they can figure this shit out he will quit again.

Ortiz says that Jericho can’t be any more wrong about Kingston and says that all this bickering won’t settle anything. He says where they come from if you have an issue, you don’t have a meeting, you fight. He challenges Jericho and Hager to a match for next week to “settle this shit once and for all.” Jericho accepts and he and Hager leave.
