Latest on WWE/GCW rumors; FITE+ and indy promotions

According to a report from Fightful Select, several “prominent” independent professional wrestling promotions have reached deals to air on FITE+ in an expanded deal.

Fightful indicated they were given the impression that a number of independent wrestling promotions would join as a live-streaming option for one tier of the membership. There will reportedly be a number of announcements coming in November. It is not clear if there are going to be additional pricing, packages, or details.

It is also being said that there is going to be a number of announcements next month.

When Fightful asked Game Changer Wrestler whether this is where they’re going for there shows, they responded with the non-answer of “WWE is going to FITE plus?”

Fightful then said they questioned GCW regarding the reports of a speculated and rumored WWE partnership. According to a statement GCW sent to Fightful, they said that they will make their streaming intentions public on November 1. Fightful also notes that while WWE would not confirm it, a representative however said to watch WWE Raw. However, everything suggests that this is a rib. Fightful also questioned former AEW star Joey Janela, who said he could not comment – nonetheless. Fightful said they have received no impression or signs that GCW and WWE are truly working together.
