As first reported by PWInsider, Charlotte Flair appears to be taking time off from WWE.
According to the report, the former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion informed the company about the break over the course of WrestleMania weekend.
While the reason is unknown, there is speculation that a bodybuilding competition during the summer may play a role in the decision, as it was brought up by Flair during recent media appearances.
Flair returned to action last December, defeating Ronda Rousey for the championship to hold onto it until WrestleMania Night One, when she lost the title to the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley.
