A report from PWInsider has indicated the latest update on the status of Adam Copeland, better known as Edge.
According to the report, Copeland has been removed from the Misc. list of WWE’s internal roster, where he was moved earlier this month following a removal from the active roster.
Copeland last competed in August at SmackDown in Toronto, a match against Sheamus celebrating the 25th anniversary of his WWE debut and marking what has been publicly discussed as his final match on his WWE contract, set to expire at the end of September.
There has been speculation of interest in bringing Copeland to AEW in the near future, but the Rated-R Superstar himself has stated recently that a new contract extension was waiting for him, should he choose to sign it.
