It is Wednesday, my dudes…you know what that means.
Pyro kicks us off for Dynamite before Penta El Zero Miedo makes his way to the ring for our opening contest! Out next is Jay White…who gets dived on by Penta! Penta keeps on the attack before sending Jay into the ring, hitting a double stomp on the Switchblade to get this match underway!
Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Jay White
Penta makes the cover but only gets a nearfall, but the luchador stays on the attack until Bullet Club Gold intervene…allowing White to turn things around in his favor! White hits a big DDT before going for the cover, but Penta kicks out!
Jay keeps the assault going, leading to a snap suplex for another nearfall as Penta tries to will himself back into the match. Penta back on his feet, taking a kick from White before Penta hits a thrust kick of his own on the Switchblade! Penta rushes at Jay, who evades him before sending the luchador to the outside!
BC Gold mock Penta before Jay goes back on the attack, bringing him into the ring before tying a knot on Penta’s mask to keep him attached to the ropes before the ref intervenes…but Jay sends Penta into the corner for a cover and a nearfall before we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: Switchblade still firmly in control of the match here, cinching in a chin lock until Penta escapes…only for the luchador to end up on the outside, trying to recover on the floor as White goes back after him. White brings Penta back in the ring, focusing on the legs as he locks in a submission hold…bridging with a grip on Penta’s chin until the luchador gets the ropes for the break!
And with that we come back from break, where White follows up on the attack with some chops as Penta gets to his feet…and Penta hits the ropes before hitting a hard kick and a flurry of offense on the Switchblade! Jay escapes the ring as BCG intervene, but they cannot stop Penta hitting a massive tope onto White!
Penta brings Jay back into the ring, egging him on before both men get back on their feet, where they trade strikes. Penta removes his glove for added sting on a chop, to which White responds with a chop of his own…but Penta seems to get the upper hand before White tells him to remove the shirt covering Penta’s chest.
The luchador obliges, and the two trade chops again until Jay catches Penta with a basement dropkick…only for Penta to rock him with a Death Valley Driver and a close, close nearfall! Penta looking for Fear Factor, but Jay counters into a uranage that drops the luchador to the canvas…followed by a brainbuster and the cover! BUT PENTA KICKS OUT!
White continues the attack, but is sent down hard with Made In Japan by Penta who gets the cover…BUT JAY KICKS OUT AS WELL!
Penta looks for a Fear Factor again but BCG intervene once again, this time Juice Robinson hits him with a big left hand before White hits the Blade Runner for the pin and the win!

Jay gets the microphone after the match, calling out MJF and calling himself the truly elite World Champion. Jay says MJF can’t find anyone to team up with him to try and take back his title, before Robinson promises that he will win tonight’s main event and beat MJF for his ring in Philadelphia, and proceed to pawn the ring off so Juice can get another gold tooth. Austin Gunn says if you’re not down with that, we’ve got two words for ya…Guns Up!
Backstage, Renee talks to MJF about what Bullet Club Gold said just moments ago, to which MJF says he wasn’t going to go out there and get beat up…or waste his entrance pop. MJF runs down Robinson, saying he hopes Juice wins so he can beat him down and retain his ring.
Renee asks about Cole, but the World Champion is interrupted by the World Trios Champions as The Acclaimed show up. Max Caster offers to team up with MJF to take on Bullet Club Gold, but with MJF refusing the offer Max says he could maybe get in on the battle royal tonight, and when he faces MJF for the ring the champ will have to “put a ring on it.”
This causes the champ to scoff before walking off, before Bowens tells Caster that “less is more” before we cut to break.

Video Package: Highlighting the AEW careers of Hikaru Shida and Emi Sakura ahead of their AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator match tonight!
Back at ringside, Emi Sakura makes her way to the ring for our next contest. Out next is the AEW Women’s World Champion as Hikaru Shida heads to the ring, kendo stick in hand…but Emi rushes at her, blindsiding her with an attack before this match gets underway!
AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Match: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Emi Sakura
After the early attack from Sakura, things quickly turn back and forth as both women trade strikes. Emi with a couple chops sending the champ to the corner before the ref intervenes, and Emi gears up for a running charge at Shida…who responds with a big kick for the cover! But it gets countered, until they end up rolling around with Shida getting a nearfall in the end.
Shida sends Sakura to the corner for mounted punches, but Emi turns things around before hitting a cross body splash in the corner on the champ, mocking her by throwing the kendo stick out as we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: Emi stays in control as she sends Shida back to the corner, driving a boot into the throat of the champion before bringing her back to the middle of the ring…where Shida starts fighting back! Emi responds by sending her right back into the corner, which allows her a chance to set up for a big backbreaker on the champion and gets a nearfall for it. Sakura continues with some hard chops on Shida, who gets to her feet just long enough for Emi to drop her back down twice over. Emi with a cover but the champion kicks out, which gives Shida a chance to start fighting back as we come back from break!
Shida is able to get some offense in, but Emi quickly brings it to a halt as she sends the champion out of the ring. Sakura leaves the ring as well, going up the ramp to build up speed for a charge but is met with a hurricanrana by Shida! Shida sends her back into the ring for the cover…BUT EMI KICKS OUT!
This leads to a series of nearfalls for both women, before Emi hits a big powerbomb for the cover…BUT SHIDA KICKS OUT!
Emi mocks the crowd before going for a moonsault, but Shida rolls out of the way before hitting a Kitana for the cover…AND EMI KICKS OUT AT ONE!
Sakura catches the champ with a La Magistral cradle, but Shida kicks out. Emi with a backbreaker but Shida fights back, hitting a Falcon Arrow for the cover…but Sakura won’t give up, kicking out once more!
But the champ manages to catch Sakura with one more Kitana, this time connecting fully as Shida gets the pin and the win!

Earlier today, Adam Copeland spoke to Renee about the history he and Christian Cage have in the business. He talked about getting that slight head start, but always having respect and hyping Cage up. Copeland thinks that Cage is still angry about that head start, despite Copeland helping him get into things.
He then talks about the ties they have as family of sorts, with each man being godfather to the other’s kids. Renee asks what kind of goals Adam has coming into AEW, and Copeland makes it clear he does not want to fight Cage, but wants to be there to pick him up when Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus leave him.
Back at ringside, Wardlow makes his way to the ring as Ryan Nemeth looks to get the jump on him as this match begins!

And that’s about as much offense as Nemeth gets, as Wardlow quickly hoists Nemeth up for a massive powerbomb that knocks out the Hollywood Hunk! The ref calls for the bell!

Tony Schiavone tries to get a word with Wardlow, who shows off wrist tape with MJF written on it before shoving Tony away and leaving the ring.
Backstage, Renee talks to Kenny Omega about his match against Kyle Fletcher tonight before MJF cuts in to interrupt. At first he just says hi, but leans in to whisper “13 days, b—h” into the ear of Omega before walking off, leaving Omega to think about MJF reminding him that in 13 days he will surpass Omega as the longest-reigning AEW World Champion as we go to break.
-Commercial Break-
Back from break, we get an update from Adam Cole, Roderick “Neck” Strong, and The Kingdom as they, uh…have a peanut butter and jelly party. Cole is proud of his work, but Strong hates crusts…something that sets Cole off, saying he’s done with them before wheeling off to head to surgery finally. Strong admits he knows what he has to do to get his best friend back…he’s gonna have to be nice to that scumbag MJF.
Back at ringside, Tony Schiavone introduces Don Callis and his Family to the ring amidst heavy boos from the crowd. Callis talks about the Family making history last week when Powerhouse Hobbs “broke Chris Jericho in half.” Hobbs talks about February 22, 1998, and a chance to meet his hero Chris Jericho…before talking about what Jericho did to him and his grandmother that night, and the way last week served as revenge.
Callis says that Hobbs has been told to bottle up his feelings, but with the Family he can be what he is…a killing machine. They’re not done with Jericho or anyone else, because the Family is about to unleash Powerhouse on AEW.
The crowd tell Callis how they feel as he addresses Kyle Fletcher’s failure when they teamed a few weeks back. This brings out Fletcher, who grabs the microphone and tells Callis he did this match as a favor before saying he has another chance to face Omega one-on-one…and a chance to prove to everyone, including Callis, that he doesn’t need anyone’s help to beat Kenny Omega.
Callis says he likes that confidence, and if he beats Kenny Omega tonight they can consider talking things over next week. Callis and the Family leave the ring as Omega’s music hits, and we get the ring intro indicating we are getting into this next match right away!
Kyle Fletcher vs. Kenny Omega
Fletcher blindsides Omega for an attack, sending him to the ropes before trying to choke him out with Omega’s shirt. Omega fights back, sending Fletcher to the ropes…but Kyle turns it around, before laying in some punches on the Best Bout Machine. Omega finally gets back to his feet, hitting a delayed vertical suplex on Fletcher who slides out of the ring…only to take a dive from Omega!
Omega back to his feet as he brings Fletcher back in the ring, but Kyle gets back into things before sending Kenny out of the ring and into the crowd over the barricade! Fletcher brings the former World Champion back to the ring, sending him into the corner…but Omega turns things around with a standing hurricanrana that sends Fletcher right back out of the ring!
Omega sets up for a Terminator dive but Fletcher cuts him off, bringing him to the outside where both men trade strikes. Omega with the upper hand as he sends Fletcher to the barricade, before running toward the Aussie Open member…who sends him flying into the barricade instead as we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: Fletcher is back in control now as the action spills out into the crowd, where Fletcher lays into the Best Bout Machine before bringing him back to ringside. Fletcher brings Omega into the ring, where Kenny starts to fight back…only for Fletcher to drop him for a nearfall! Kyle sends him to the corner but is met with a kick from Omega, who is trying to get back into this as both men end up on the canvas to a standing count…and both men make it to their feet, trading strikes as we come back from break!
Omega sets up for a moonsault but Fletcher escapes…but he cannot escape a moonsault to the outside by Omega! Kenny hits a dropkick on the lower back of Fletcher before making the cover…BUT KYLE KICKS OUT!
Omega sets Fletcher up, dropping him to the canvas for the cover, but still only gets a nearfall. This gives Fletcher an opening that he takes easily, kick in the corner followed by a brainbuster allows Kyle to make the cover…BUT OMEGA KICKS OUT!
Omega manages to fight out of a Tombstone attempt, but is sent face first into the second turnbuckle before Kyle hits a Michinoku driver for a nearfall! Omega gets to the ropes, but is met with a kick from behind by Fletcher…only for Omega to fight out and hits a knee to the back! Reverse rana by Omega, followed by a powerbomb and a knee strike…BUT FLETCHER KICKS OUT AGAIN!
Fletcher gets to the ropes, but takes a V-trigger by Omega…only to counter out of the One-Winged Angel! Dragon sleeper by Fletcher…but Omega counters into a pinning combination for a nearfall. Snapdragon by Omega is met with a kick by Fletcher…only for Omega to hit a One-Winged Angel for the pin and the win!

As Kenny celebrates the win, we get another message from the “Very Nice, Very Evil” Danhausen to let us know we will all be cursed soon enough.

Back at ringside, Lance Archer is beating up on…uh, someone…bringing him to the ring for our next contest!
Lance Archer vs. Barrett Brown
(Thank you Excalibur)
Archer sends Brown to the corner for a series of hard shoulder tackles. Brown tries to fight back, but Archer insists that “everybody dies” as he drops him down hard to the canvas for the pin and the win!

This Friday marks the debut of the music video for a remix of “Big Pressure,” the theme song of Swerve Strickland…but he doesn’t feel like celebrating because he feels he should also be celebrating being TNT Champion, but he didn’t even get that shot because of Hangman Page. Swerve looks for revenge for this as we go back to ringside.
In the ring is Tony Schiavone, who introduces Sting who looks to address the fans. The Icon makes his way to the ring to a good ovation from the crowd. Sting says he wants to reflect before saying “the word,” looking back on his travels with guys from his long and storied career.
Sting gives props to men like Dusty Rhodes, Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair, thanking each for what they’ve given him over the years. The crowd chants “Thank you Sting” as Sting thanks the fans, before getting into why those guys stuck around for so long. The smell of the arenas, the comradery of the locker room, and the roar of the fans that keep them going.
Sting wonders if he should still be doing certain things, to which the crowd chants “you’ve still got it.” Sting addresses his retirement of 2015, reminding people that he said the only thing certain about Sting is nothing is certain. This leads him to addressing the possibility of retirement once more.
Sting talks about his first match in AEW in Revolution 2021…and his very last match will be Revolution 2024. He ends by saying the only thing for sure about Sting is that his retirement after Revolution 2024 will be for sure. Sting’s music hits as the crowd shows their appreciation for the Icon.
Backstage, RJ City introduces “Timeless” Toni Storm, who tells production to play the picture as we go to, um, picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: Truly timeless indeed, a fun chat between Storm and City playing the role of Studio Executive discussing what’s next for the Timeless one.
We cut backstage for a sit-down interview with Jim Ross and Nick Wayne, where J.R. tries to get to the bottom of what’s going on with Wayne after the up and comer has aligned with Christian Cage in recent weeks. Wayne’s mother is taken aback by what has happened, but Wayne tells both of them that Cage is a better father figure than his dad ever was.
Wayne calls his mother a terrible one, leading to a slap before Wayne tells his mom she’s dead to him…but as he and Cage leave the room, they get jumped by Darby Allin, who focues on Nick Wayne!
We come back to ringside where that fight continues, until Luchasaurus intervenes. Cage directs traffic until Sting shows up, saving Darby before going after the TNT Champion. The Icon looks for a Scorpion Deathlock but Luchasaurus saves him, and the pair regroup on the ramp with a bloodied Nick Wayne missing a tooth before we go to a rundown of the week to come.
Backstage, Renee talks to Best Friends and Hook about their collection of championships heading into Battle of the Belts this Saturday. Kris Statlander announces she’ll defend the TBS Championship against Willow Nightingale, and Orange Cassidy talks about how much he missed the title after losing it, as he is read to defend against whoever wins the opportunity at Rampage.
Back at ringside, the first competitor for the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal is Dustin Rhodes and he heads to the ring as we go to commercial break!
-Commercial Break-
Back at ringside once more, the remaining competitors are surrounding the ring as Juice Robinson makes his entrance, followed by Max Caster with a rap regarding tonight’s main event! MJF heads out to the stage with the express purpose of to head to commentary for the battle royal, where the winner will face him in Philadelphia for the diamond ring he’s won over the past four years…and this battle royal gets underway!
Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal
All the competitors slide into the ring and go to work on getting eliminations, and Johnny TV eliminates Ang before showing off on Daniel Garcia…who gets told off by Menard before he can respond in kind. Hardy takes both men down before showing his own moves off, as Matt Hardy and Dustin Rhodes eliminate Johnny TV. Hardys continue to focus on Menard and Hager as Rhodes goes after Robinson, as Matt Hardy gets eliminated by Hager!
We see MJF heading to the ring as Rhodes goes after Robinson, and the World Champion offers Dustin $50 to get rid of Juice! Dustin sets Robinson up in the corner, taking out his little Juicers in the process as we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: The action continues as Rhodes continues attacking Robinson, and Hager goes after Beretta until Dustin comes after him. Trent goes after Garcia now, the two trading blows as everyone else is struggling to their feet. We end up having a coule guys on the ropes, as Garcia narrowly stays in the match. Hager goes after Caster now, as we come back from break!
Hager gets taken down by Komander, who gets taken out of the match by Garcia and Menard for his troubles! Trent catches Garcia with a half and half suplex, and Rhodes follows with a Destroyer before Trent and Dustin hug…but Hager does not want to give the people what they want, taking both men down!
Hager sets up outside the ring, but gets knocked off the apron to the floor by Trent for an elimination! Menard comes after Trent for this, and both men end up on the apron trading strikes before Matt looks for a piledriver…but Trent reverses, before Garcia saves him before going after Trent, who gets dropped out to the floor!
Jeff Hardy is back on the attack now, but Garcia takes him out of the ring for an elimination! Garcia starts to dance, but Daddy…Magic…says no! They set up Rhodes for an elimination, but Rhodes gets Menard out of the ring instead…only to be sent out by Garcia!
This leaves us with Daniel Garcia, Max Caster, and Juice Robinson as your final three. Garcia starts to dance but Robinson gets him to the ropes, only for Caster to make the elimination in the end. The fight continues on the apron between Caster and Robinson, who narrowly evades being elimination after a big kick by Caster!
Caster hits the ropes for speed, but takes a shoulder by Juice instead! Robinson setting up for a suplex over the top rope, but Caster is hanging on. Juice keeps pulling, and Caster is out on the apron as he lays into Robinson with right hands. Juice responds with a bite to take Caster back, setting him up on the turnbuckle for…a superplex? No!
Caster sends him back into the ring, and is up top for a Mic Drop that connects! But at commentary we see MJF and Jay White fighting it out to the stage before MJF is able to get his championship back…for a moment, before he gets hit with a low blow by Jay! Back in the ring, Caster is distracted by all of this and Robinson catches him with a Left Hand of God assisted by the zirconia ring before sending Caster out of the ring for the win!

Bullet Club Gold meet up in the ring to celebrate as an angry MJF runs them down from the stage as the show comes to a close.
