Charlotte Flair was originally scheduled to wrestle at this weekend’s WWE Holiday Tour house show events, but was pulled following an injury to her left knee.
The injury happened during her match with Asuka at last Friday night’s WWE Tribute to the Troops SmackDown special. Footage has now recently surfaced on how Flair injured herself. It looked like Flair was set to counter a possible superflex by Asuka and lost her balance and then slipped, hitting her left knee on the ropes and then landing awkward on the same knee.
As of this report, there is no update on the status of her knee. However, it is being said that some within WWE are extremely concerned the injury could be fairly serious.
As of Saturday, per F4WOnline, Flair was waiting on x-ray results.
