John Cena to break history making news at WWE Backlash

John Cena took to X on Monday, to announce that he will officially be at this Saturday’s WWE Backlash, which takes place at the Benchmark Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Cena also noted that he will be at the event to break some history-making news. He also added that he can’t promise it will be perfect, but that he can promise it will change the WWE experience for Superstars and fans.

Back on April 23, Cena posted to X that he’s still going to try to do something epic in Tampa on 5/9, promising Club WWE something special and to stay tuned. This past weekend, it was noticed that the venue began advertising Cena for the event.

Backlash airs live on ESPN Unlimited in the United States and Netflix for international fans. The first hour of the show will air free on ESPN 2 in the United States. The event starts at 6:00 pm ET/3:00 pm PT.
