It’s time once again for your weekly ROH on HDNet recap! So, sit back, relax, open up a brew or a pop, and get ready for some RING OF HONOR WRESTLING!
This week, due to time constraints, I will be providing a short recap of the show! Next week I’ll have a more detailed recap for your reading pleasure! Here’s how things went down this week:
-This week’s show started off with Kyle Durden interviewing Homicide about his Butcher’s Rules match with Necro Butcher later in the evening.
STEVE CORINO vs. EL GENERICO
-At first Corino asks Generico for his mask to end the feud between him and Steen, so there wont be a match at Final Battle. Corino tells Generico that the match at Final Battle is not worth it, so again he asks for Generico’s mask. Generico declines, both men start fighting before the bell rings. Once the bell rings, Generico rolls Corino up in a small package and wins the match!
WINNER: GENERICO
-A video recap is shown of the feud between Shane Hagadorn and the Kings of Wrestling battling it out with the Briscoe Family. Show’s all events leading up to Final Battle on December 18th in New York City!
-In ring interview with Jim Cornette interviewing “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett with his trainer “Brutal” Bob Evans. Bennett explains that he’s the best and that the year 2011 will be known as the year of the prodigy! Bennett also says that he will be world champ all next year.
-A video recap is shown of last week’s match between Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze when it came down to a time limit draw. They then show a back stage exclusive when Haze and Del Rey get in each other’s faces and each tells the other to choose a partner for Final Battle to settle this thing. That sets up a tag match at Final Battle.
–RHETT TITUS def. JOHN DAVIS (of the DARK CITY FIGHT CLUB)
-A video is shown of Davey Richards giving his thoughts on his ROH World Title match with Roddrick Strong. Davey also gives his thoughts on Truth Martini.
-Backstage interview with Kyle Durden interviewing ROH TV Champ Eddie Edwards. Edwards comments on his teaming up with Davey Richards to take on the Kings of Wrestling for the Tag Titles on December 17th in Plymouth, MA.
–ADAM COLE & KYLE O’REILLY def. GRIZZLY REDWOOD & MIKE SYDAL
–MAIN EVENT
BUTCHER’S RULES MATCH – HOMICIDE def. NECRO BUTCHER
