A video kicks off the show highlighting what we’ll be seeing on tonight’s The Horror Show at Extreme Rules.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship – Tables Match
The New Day (c’s) vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura
The bell rings, and Cesaro and Nakamura quickly get the advantage over the New Day. Nakamura kicks Kofi Kingston while Cesaro uppercuts Big E. Kingston quickly comes back with a leaping double stomp to Cesaro. Big E shoulders Cesaro before The New Day hits Poetry in Motion. Big E follows up with a belly-to-belly side suplex on Cesaro. They go under the ring and grab a table. Cesaro and Nakamura cut them off. Big E quickly sends Nakamura head-first into the plexiglass barricade. Big E then whips Kingston into Nakamura with a dropkick. Big E follows up with a whip on Kingston into Cesaro with another dropkick. The New Day celebrates.
Big E sets up a table while Kingston head-butts Cesaro. Big E puts Cesaro on his shoulders, but Nakamura attacks Kingston. Cesaro then sends Big E into the barricade. Cesaro grabs the top half of the steel steps and drives them into Big E. In the ring, Cesaro and Nakamura set up a table and attack Kingston. They put Kingston on the top rope and go for a double-team superplex through a table, but Big E cuts them off. Cesaro fights back with a military press on Kingston, but Kingston gets out. Big E then spears Cesaro off the apron — they just barely miss the table set up at ringside. The New Day lay Cesaro on a table on the ramp. They get in the ring, and Big E leapfrogs Kingston out of the ring, but Cesaro and Nakamura drive the table into him midair!

Nakamura and Cesaro go for a double-team suplex through a table, but Big E drags Kingston away. Nakamura and Cesaro wipe out Big E on the apron and go to suplex him to the floor through the table. Big E fights it and charges, but they knee him in the face. Cesaro and Nakamura go for another double-team suplex, but Big E suplexes Cesaro into the ring. Nakamura quickly kicks Big E in the face. Nakamura sets up a table at ringside, but Kingston wipes him out with a trust fall. Big E wipes out Cesaro in the ring with a suplex. The New Day go under the ring and grab another table. They stack it on the other table set up at ringside.

Big E goes to superplex Cesaro through the table stack at ringside, but Nakamura cuts him off. Kingston fights off Nakamura, but Nakamura knocks him away. Cesaro viciously rips Big E off the top rope. Cesaro gives Big E a Cesaro Swing into a kick from Nakamura. Kingston runs in and wipes out Nakamura and Big E. Kingston hits a plancha on Nakamura before leaping off the steps and head-butting Cesaro down. Kingston gets Cesaro in the ring and punches away at him. Kingston sets Cesaro up on the top rope and goes for a hurricanrana through the table stack, but Nakamura cuts him off. Nakamura and Cesaro powerbomb Kingston off the second rope through the table stack at ringside! Wow!

The Kabuki Warriors are backstage with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. They’re pumped up about defeating Sasha Banks and Bayley tonight. Nikki Cross says she feels invincible.

The bell rings, and they lock up. Bayley powers her to the corner and swipes her face. They circle the ring again, and Cross applies a waistlock. Bayley quickly powers her off and poses. They lock up, and Cross powers her to the corner before punching her down. Cross quickly hits a snap swinging neckbreaker for a near fall. Bayley immediately gets out of the ring. Cross hits a wrecking ball dropkick and DDTs her on the floor! Cross gets Bayley in the ring and hits a cross-body block for a near fall. Cross goes back to the top rope for another cross-body block for another near fall. Cross heads to the top rope again, but Bayley gets out of the ring. Cross then charges off the apron and hits Bayley with a cross-body block on the floor.
Bayley quickly drives her into the apron and slams her into the plexiglass. Bayley chokes her on the ropes before dropping an elbow for a two count. Cross pushes Bayley back, but Bayley slams her into the corner. Bayley shoulders her before hitting a snapmare for a one count. Bayley then applies a chin lock. Cross fights out, but Bayley puts her in the apron and punches away at her. Bayley talks some trash, and Cross crawls under the ring before appearing on the other side. Bayley goes for a baseball slide, but Cross gets her in the apron and attacks. Cross snaps her off the ropes and hits a Bayley back elbow. Cross takes Bayley down and applies a crossface. Bayley powers out and hits Bayley-To-Belly for a near fall.
Bayley is furious and punches away at Cross. Bayley knees her in the face and puts her on the top rope. Bayley hits a superplex for a near fall. Bayley argues with the referee, and Cross rolls her up for a near fall. Bayley quickly takes her down and kicks her out of the ring. Bayley hugs Banks before going for a sliding dropkick on Cross. Cross blocks it and drives her into the ring post. They get in the ring, and Cross hits her with a reverse DDT. They take some time to recover before Cross hits some clotheslines and a dropkick. Cross avalanches her in the corner and hits a running bulldog. Cross goes to the top rope and dives, but Bayley moves. Cross lands on her feet and hits a neckbreaker for a near fall. Cross is furious. Cross hits a pair of back suplexes for a near fall. Cross goes to the top rope, but Bayley knocks her off for a near fall. Bayley charges, but she hits the turnbuckle headfirst when Cross moves. Cross goes outside and hangs her off the apron for a twisting neckbreaker on the floor!
Cross gets her in the ring and clotheslines her down for a two count. Cross takes her down. Sasha Banks slides her Boss brass knuckles in the ring and distracts the referee. Bayley punches Cross in the midsection and gives her a facebuster for the win.

Decent match with Nikki Cross and Bayley, but it dragged at times. The flurry by Nikki Cross at the beginning of the match was really good. Finish was good and sets up Sasha's match later tonight. #ExtremeRules

Video: The Firefly Fun House starts and showcases some spooky images. Bray Wyatt is shown in a Dracula cape. Wyatt welcomes us to The Horror Show at Extreme Rules. The worst is yet to come when he presents the most horrifying, revolting, disgusting footage known to man. They show the Karaoke Contest from SmackDown, but Wyatt says that’s the wrong footage. Wyatt says he’s going to wipe Braun Strowman out.
The commentators announce that Apollo Crews did not pass his pre-match physical and cannot defend the United States Championship tonight.
MVP and Bobby Lashley make their way to the ring. Replays are shown of Bobby Lashley viciously attacking Apollo Crews with a Full Nelson a few weeks ago on Raw. MVP declares himself the United States Champion and puts the title around his waist.

Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio sneaks into the ring from behind and dropkicks Rollins before going for a 619, but Rollins moves. Mysterio chases him into the ring, but Rollins hits a Sling Blade. Rollins takes off his ring jacket and rips at the eyes. Mysterio gets out and goes for a slingshot over him, but Rollins catches him. Mysterio slides off and punches away at him. Mysterio hits a head-scissor takeover to send Rollins shoulder-first into the ring post. Mysterio goes under the ring and drags a table out, which has a toolbox on top of it. Mysterio grabs a tool, but Rollins gets out of the ring and hits him in the head with a kendo stick. Mysterio quickly fights back and goes for a springboard moonsault, but Rollins catches him. Mysterio quickly gets out and puts him in position for the 619, but Rollins gets away. Rollins tries to bounce him off the turnbuckle, but Mysterio blocks him. Mysterio goes for a head-scissor off the apron, but Rollins counters into a falcon arrow on the apron!

Rollins rakes Mysterio’s eyes and attacks him with rebar. Mysterio gets in the ring, but Rollins drags him out and tries to dig his eye into the steel steps. Mysterio fights it, so Rollins slams him into the plexiglass. Rollins gets him in the ring and goes to dig the tip of the kendo stick into Mysterio’s eye. Mysterio fights it, so Rollins slides him out of the ring chest-first onto the table that was dragged out from under the ring. Rollins attacks him at ringside and tries to dig a chair leg tip into his eye. Mysterio blocks it, so Rollins puts the chair over Mysterio and sits on him before ripping at the eye. Mysterio gets out and grabs the chair. Mysterio swings, but Rollins moves. Rollins grabs a pen and some tools, but Mysterio moves and gives him a drop-toe-hold into the commentary table. Rollins holds his face in pain.
Mysterio goes to dig the chair leg into Rollins’ eye, but he blocks it. Rollins grabs the chair and cracks him in the back with it. Rollins grabs some rope from the tool chest and tries to tie Mysterio to the ropes and rip at the eye. Mysterio fights him off and hits a head-scissor into the ring post. Rollins gets in the ring and begs him off until he hits Mysterio with the kendo stick. Rollins hits him a few more times with the kendo stick before lodging it into the steel post, hanging over the apron. Rollins gets him on the apron and goes to drive him into the stick, but Mysterio blocks it. Mysterio punches him back and hits a seated senton before ducking a clothesline and hits a head-scissor takeover. Mysterio hits a leg drop before going to the top rope for a frog splash. Mysterio rips at Rollins’ eye before booting him back. Mysterio goes for a roll-up DDT, but Rollins counters into an alley-oop. Rollins goes for a Stomp, but Mysterio moves and hits a tornado DDT. Rollins rolls to the ringside area. Mysterio counters an electric chair by hitting him in the head with the kendo stick and hitting a hurricanrana into the barricade! Mysterio gets in the ring and hits a sliding sunset flip to slam Rollins into the barricade again.

Mysterio grabs the kendo stick and breaks it over his knee before grabbing one of the shards. Mysterio kneels on him and tries to drive the splinter into Rollins’ eye. Rollins screams in pain and crawls away desperately. Mysterio hits a 619, and Rollins falls out of the ring. Rollins grabs him at ringside, but Mysterio gets out and hits Rollins with the Stomp on the floor! Mysterio stands over Rollins, who is begging him off. Mysterio grabs Rollins and drives him into the steel steps. Rollins gets out with a low blow and boots his head into the barricade. Rollins backs up and hits Mysterio with a Stomp on the floor.

Rollins brings Mysterio over to the steel steps and tries to drive the point into Mysterio’s eye. Rollins lets him go and backs up. The referee checks on Mysterio and calls for the bell despite the eye not being extracted.
Winner: Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins looks at what he did and vomits at ringside. Dominick runs down and checks on his father. They rush Mysterio to the back to save his eye.

Bayley looks concerned about Rey Mysterio and says he hopes he gets better and can see this. It’s not double vision because she’s still a double champion. Sasha Banks will also be a double champion tonight.

They lock up, and Banks soon takes her down. Asuka gets away, but Banks takes her down and applies a Bank Statement. Asuka reaches for the rope, so Banks lets go and stomps the hand. Banks attacks her and hits a meteora for a two count. Banks powers her down tries to pin her a few more times to no avail. Asuka fights up and takes her down for an arm bar. Banks desperately rolls and gets her legs on the bottom rope to break the hold. Banks grabs the hand and leaps off the top rope with an arm drag. Banks chops the chest, but Asuka just gets fired up. Banks goes for another leaping arm drag, but Asuka knees her in the face. Banks rolls to the apron, and Asuka knocks her to the floor with a hip attack.

Banks hits her with a knee, but Asuka fights back with some knee attacks. Asuka gets her in the ring and goes for an Asuka Lock, but Banks drives her into the turnbuckle. Banks rips Asuka’s arm off the turnbuckle and picks up a near fall. Banks stretches away at the arms and picks up a two count. Banks continues to attack the arms, but Asuka fights back and crushes her with a spinning back first. Banks quickly comes back by driving her headfirst into the turnbuckle. Asuka fights back and hits double knees off the second rope.

Asuka spins and tries to hit a German Suplex off the apron, but Banks holds on. Banks slides off and powerbombs Asuka into the plexiglass. Banks gets her in the ring and hits a frog splash, but Asuka kicks out. Banks applies a Bank Statement, but Asuka makes it to the bottom rope. Banks talks trash to her on the apron, so Asuka fights back and knees her down. Asuka drags her into the ring, but they botch it a bit. Asuka then hits a German Suplex after a few moments before kicking away at the chest. Asuka hits a sliding kick for a near fall. Asuka blocks a kick and hits another German Suplex followed by a hip attack for a near fall. Bayley looks worried at ringside. Asuka goes for a missile dropkick, but Banks avoids it and knees her in the face for a near fall.

Banks kicks her, but her knee gives out. The referee checks on her. Banks says she has to win. Banks tries to take Asuka down, but Asuka counters. Kairi Sane and Bayley brawl at ringside before Bayley hits a Bayley-To-Belly on the floor. Asuka and Banks trade pins before awkwardly getting into an Asuka Lock. Banks taps out, but Bayley distracts the referee. Asuka kicks Bayley in the head. The referee takes a title belt away from Banks. Asuka sprays green mist, but accidentally hits the referee. Bayley takes the referee’s shirt and puts it on. She hits Asuka with the title belt and counts the pin for Banks. The timekeeper won’t ring the bell. Bayley forces him to and takes the Raw Women’s Championship.

The only thing horrific about this show is the show itself. This is awful. Banks and Asuka were actually having a good match, but they overbooked it to hell. This show is literally garbage. If you're watching this in your precious free time, I'm sorry for you. #ExtremeRules

Dolph Ziggler says Drew McIntyre made a huge mistake. This match will be Extreme Rules only for Ziggler. If McIntyre gets disqualified or counted out, Ziggler becomes WWE Champion.

Ziggler immediately goes under the ring, but McIntyre punches him in the face. McIntyre punches away at him and gets him in the ring before throwing him across the ring. McIntyre sets up for a Claymore Kick, but Ziggler gets out of the ring. Ziggler grabs a chair and swings, but McIntyre blocks it and throws it away. McIntyre hits a big belly-to-belly overhead suplex and sends him out of the ring. Ziggler sends McIntyre into the ring post and bounces him into the plexiglass. Ziggler sends him into the ring post again and grabs a table. Ziggler sets it up, but McIntyre grabs him and goes for a suplex through the table, but he’d be disqualified so he turns around and suplexes him on the floor. McIntyre gets him in the ring and hits a powerbomb for a near fall.

McIntyre approaches Ziggler, but Ziggler low blows him. Ziggler grabs some steel chairs and puts them in the ring. Ziggler sets one up and and uses another to viciously crack McIntyre in the back a few times. McIntyre gets up and leans his neck on the edge of the chair tope, and Ziggler cracks him in the back. Ziggler gives what looks like a chairshot to the head for a near fall. McIntyre rolls out of the ring to recover. Ziggler jumps off the apron, but McIntyre catches him, drives him into the apron and hits a belly-to-belly suplex onto the commentary table. McIntyre clears the table and goes for a belly-to-belly off, but Ziggler knocks him off and hits a diving famouser.

Ziggler gets McIntyre in the ring, but McIntyre punches him back. McIntyre jumps off the top rope, but Ziggler moves. Ziggler applies a sleeper hold. McIntyre gets to the ropes, but Ziggler doesn’t have to release because he’s using Extreme Rules for himself. McIntyre fights out and hits a vicious Glasgow Kiss. McIntyre drags Ziggler out of the ring and hits a catapult into the plexiglass. McIntyre gets him in the ring and elbows him before hitting an inverted Alabama Slam. McIntyre goes for a Claymore Kick, but Ziggler hits him in the knee with a chair and connects with a Zig-Zag for a near fall. McIntyre goes to ringside, and Ziggler superkicks him onto a table. Ziggler goes to the top rope and hits a diving elbow drop to ringside through the table! McIntyre nearly gets counted out, which would have given Ziggler the WWE Championship, but McIntyre gets in the ring at nine. Ziggler screams in frustration.

McIntyre hits a Glasgow Kiss and stuns himself. McIntyre goes for a Future Shock DDT, but Ziggler gets out and hits a famouser followed by a Zig-Zag. Ziggler hits a Rock Bottom on the chair for a near fall. Ziggler is infuriated and throws the chairs out of the ring. Ziggler goes to the corner, but McIntyre wipes him out with a Claymore Kick out of nowhere for the win.
Winner by Pinfall and still WWE Champion: Drew McIntyre
Good match with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. The stipulation made it intriguing and added some drama. A much needed boost to this awful show. #ExtremeRules

Wyatt Swamp Fight
Bray Wyatt vs. WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman
Bray Wyatt is in his old Florida man garb and sitting in his rocking chair. Strowman drives up and says he’s home. Wyatt disappears, so Strowman destroys his rocking chair. A sign says, “Abandon hope all ye who enter here.” Strowman is attacked by some masked Wyatt disciples before coming face-to-face with himself in the Black Sheep mask. Strowman is terrified of the image. The evil Strowman hits good Strowman with a shovel.

We cut to inside Wyatt’s cabin where Strowman is chained to a chair. Wyatt, holding his lantern and walking to his old theme song, approaches Strowman. Wyatt says, “Welcome home, Braun.” Strowman says he hates Wyatt for everything he made him do. Wyatt knows Strowman wants to hurt him, but he’s chained to the chair. Wyatt says he’s missed Strowman. Wyatt asks who will have Strowman’s back. Wyatt says Strowman is like him. He’s special and doesn’t understand. That’s why Strowman needs him. They can be like gods. They can rule this place and they will bow to them all. As societies crumble, there they will be ruling like they knew they would. Strowman says he’ll send Wyatt back to hell. A woman holding a boa constrictor comes up and the snake bites Strowman.

We cut to a scene where Strowman fights off a bunch of people and lights one of them on fire. A woman’s voice tells Strowman to come home and not run. It’s Alexa Bliss and flashes are shown of the Mixed Match Challenge. Bliss knows Strowman always wanted to be with her. Strowman looks intrigued as she backs into the shadows.

Wyatt all of a sudden pops out and rips at his eyes, but Strowman fights him off and slams him into a boat, which drives off with Wyatt unconscious. Strowman walks off, but the boat returns. Strowman looks worried. Strowman walks through the swamp to the empty boat. Wyatt blindsides him and holds Strowman’s head under water. After a few moments, Strowman pops up and pulls himself onto the dock. Wyatt is nowhere to be seen. Wyatt all of a sudden stands over him, but Strowman avoids a shovel shot. Wyatt beats away at Strowman with an axe handle, but Strowman casually gets up and boots him through a railing into the swamp. Strowman looks down for Wyatt and chuckles to himself saying, “It’s over.”

The Extreme Rules graphic comes up, but Wyatt pops out of the water and applies the Mandible Claw and pulls him into the water. Strowman surfaces momentarily and screams. The water turns red and The Fiend emerges laughing. The show ends with The Fiend growling, “Let me in.”

Not sure what the hell the Wyatt Swamp Fight was. If you're interested in the story, I guess you'd probably like it… Strowman was at the tail end of the Wyatt Family when it lost its buzz so it doesn't mean anything to me. Just feels like a vehicle killing Strowman's momentum.

Overall this show sucked. Straight up. Just terrible. The WWE Championship match was good, but not nearly enough to save this mess. The scary thing is this is #WWE trying really hard… this may be the best they can do. That should scare the hell out of any fan. #ExtremeRules
