Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz now official for SummerSlam in two weeks, Updated PPV card

Following last night’s Smackdown Live in Orlando, WWE has confirmed a new singles match and new championship match for SummerSlam in two weeks.

This includes the highly anticipated singles match between Daniel Bryan and The Miz, a match that has been over two years in the making since the two first started a verbal war back in the “Talking Smackdown” days of Smackdown Live.

Also officially announced the PPV in Brooklyn is The Bludgeon Brothers defending the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against The New Day. New Day secured a win over The Bar last night to win the tag team tournament to earn the title shot.

If you missed it over the weekend, WWE also quietly confirmed that Shinsuke Nakamura will be defending the United States Championship against Jeff Hardy. WWE also confirmed Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin during RAW this past Monday night.
