Hulk Hogan says he is scheduled for Crown Jewel, Tickets still not on sale yet for the event

Crown Jewel

As of Wednesday, tickets were still not on sale yet for Crown Jewel according to a report by PWInsider. Tickets were set to go on sale last Friday, but the details were later pulled.

WWE is continuing to list the event as taking place next Friday (November 2) at Noon Eastern (11:00 a.m. CT) on the WWE Network. Unfortunately, the company does not allow for a way to access the schedule for next Friday as of this writing.

Hulk Hogan told the Orlando Sentinel that he was at one point factored into plans to make an appearance in Saudi Arabia, should the event take place.

“There are a lot of plans in the works. I’m looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, looking forward to WrestleMania — but yeah, we’re moving forward at a rapid pace. It’s exciting to have this opportunity again after all these years where I was there and gone.”

The Wrap reported this week that WWE is still continuing to monitor the situation involving the death of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, even more so after Turkey officials planned to announce more details regarding a murder investigation.

While not confirmed by WWE, the belief is that this is why the company held off on officially putting tickets on sale and avoided any reference to Saudi Arabia on television after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described Khashoggi’s death as “premeditated murder.”

POST Wrestling reported this week that WWE creative was informed John Cena would not be working the show. Cena is scheduled for the World Cup Tournament and is still part of advertising over on WWE.com as of this report.

Wrestleview.com was able to confirm that Crown Jewel is not listed as part of the “live” schedule on November 2 for the WWE Network in Canada. Whether that was a mistake or an indication of the status of the show remains to be seen.

We will continue to follow the situation with Crown Jewel as it develops.
