WWE taped the following NXT tapings on Thursday from Full Sail University.
1/3 NXT TV tapings:
* Dark Match: Stacey Ervin Jr. defeated Shane Thorne.
* Johnny Gargano opens the taping saying NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa may have willed a match between himself and NXT North American Champion Ricochet into existence. Ricochet interrupts and Ciampa eventually comes out. Aleister Black shows up on the big screen to tell Ciampa to shift his focus back to him. The lights then went out. When they returned, Black appeared behind Ciampa and they brawled. Gargano then got in a cheap shot on Ricochet to end the segment.
* Bianca Belair def. Nikki Cross. After the match, the crowd chanted “Thank you Nikki.” Cross will be moving up to the main roster shortly per WWE’s announcement.
* Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner def. Kunsman and Watts (enhancement team).
* Adam Cole def. EC3.
* The Street Profits def. The Metro Brothers.
* Bianca Belair cuts a promo about it being 2019, but she has 2020 vision on the NXT Women’s Championship. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler walks out and calls Belair overrated. Belair gets in a cheap shot and bails before she can be attacked.
* Dominik Dijakovic defeated Adrian Jaoude.
* Johnny Gargano defeated Humberto Carrillo.
* Kassius Ohno defeated Keith Lee. After the match, Matt Riddle (in a suit and tie with flip flops) attacks Ohno.
* Velveteen Dream cuts a promo showing interest in the NXT North American Championship. Adam Cole and Bobby Fish interrupt saying Undisputed Era will hold all the gold in 2019.
* Lacey Evans defeated Xia Li.
* Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch defeated Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel.
* Kairi Sane and Io Shirai defeated an enhancement tag team.
* Velveteen Dream defeated Bobby Fish.
* NXT North American Champion Riochet cut a promo saying Johnny Gargano will be the same thing in 2019 that he was in 2018: not a champion. Gargano comes out and says he won’t overreact, but then immediately attacks Ricochet. Tommaso Ciampa runs down appearing to help Gargano. Aleister Black runs out to make it even. Gargano and Ciampa clear Black and Ricochet from the ring. Ciampa extends his hand to Gargano, but Candice LeRae runs out and gets between them before Gargano can shake his hand.
* Dark Match: Heavy Machinery, NXT North American Champion Ricochet and Aleister Black defeated The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and NXT Tag Team Champions Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong).
