Report: Ronda Rousey scheduled to undergo surgery for broken hand this Tuesday

Ronda Rousey set for hand surgery Tuesday

We had previously reported that former RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey had suffered a hand injury during the main event at WrestleMania 35 in New Jersey.

According to a new report from Fightful, Rousey is scheduled to undergo surgery on her broken right hand this Tuesday.  Rousey was backstage at last week’s RAW in Brooklyn, but was used due to her scheduled surgery and planned time off.

Also according to the same report, WWE officials are hopeful Rousey will return to the company later this year.  However there is no clear indication of her next move.

Rousey took the pin-fall in the main event’s controversial finish when referee Rod Zapata made the three count even though it appeared Rousey’s shoulder was up.
