WWE to present new PPV Stomping Grounds on June 23; next Saudi Arabia show booked

WWE Stomping Grounds announced

The Tacoma Dome announced that WWE will be presenting a new WWE Network/PPV special titled WWE Stomping Grounds on Sunday, June 23 from Tacoma, Washington. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

One match is currently being advertised for the show, but it could be a placeholder. Roman Reigns is advertised to be facing Randy Orton at the event.

This event will be replacing the Backlash show, which last ran on May 6, 2018 and featured Roman Reigns taking on Samoa Joe in the main event.

WWE’s next event in Saudi Arabia

F4WOnline is reporting that the next WWE show in Saudi Arabia is scheduled for Friday, June 7. The event does not have a name or theme yet.

Backlash was originally scheduled to take place on June 16 in San Diego, putting it 9 days after the Saudi Arabia show. That event has now been switched to a house show.
