Ric Flair’s wife, Wendy Barlow provided an update to TMZ Sports earlier on Thursday regarding her husband’s surgery stating that he (Flair) expects to fully recover.

Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover.
We reported earlier on Thursday that the WWE Hall of Famer was rushed to the hospital with a medical emergency that was described as “very serious.”
Following several media reports, Flair’s son-in-law Conrad Thompson issued a comment on a media call stating that Flair was in the hospital for a scheduled surgery that was neither grave nor very serious, and that Flair elected to undergo surgery before heading out to Las Vegas for Starrcast II.
