Becky Lynch was recently interviewed by GuideLive.com. Lynch was asked about having her relationship with WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins revealed on television and used in storylines.
“That’s something that came about recently. I think seeing the potential to have two top stars fighting side by side as champions is something that we couldn’t really ignore, so here we are.”
Lynch was also asked if she’s had any input in Seth Rollins’ recent tweets and comments defending the company:
“I’ve seen what he’s been doing. That’s completely him. He rightfully exposes the fact that we are the premiere wrestling show. We’re constantly putting on matches, five-star matches time after time. I think that he just wants that to be noticed and appreciated. But that’s got absolutely nothing to do with me, I don’t know that I’ve rubbed off on him in that way.”
Terri Runnels airport arrest update
TMZ Sports is reporting that prosecutors have dropped the case against Terri Runnels after issuing her a “letter of release” dismissal. This means the case has essentially been dismissed, though prosecutors could choose to pick it up again down the line. Officials say the chances of that happening are very slim.
Runnels was arrested in May 2019 after bringing a loaded Glock 9mm handgun into the Tampa International Airport. Runnels later stated that this was a genuine mistake and had forgotten she had the handgun in her luggage.
