Update: WWE cancels three SummerSlam Heatwave Tour Smackdown live events

WWE cancels two live events

Update: Ticketmaster’s Website now indicates the Bowling Green, KY live event is indeed canceled, and that refunds are available at point of purchase.  Ticketmaster also indicates that those that purchased tickets by phone and internet will automatically be refunded.

As of this update, WWE still has no indication on their website that this live event has been canceled. However, the Buy Tickets link on their website for this event links directly to the Ticketmaster webpage that indicates the event has been canceled.

Original Post: 

WWE has canceled three of its upcoming SummerSlam Heatwave Tour events.

WWE had events scheduled for August 3 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, August 4 in Danville, IL, and including an event that was scheduled for next Monday, August 5 in Kalamazoo, MI.

Ticket refunds are available at the original point of purchase.

The Palmer Arena website in Danville, IL and the Wings Event Center website in Kalamazoo, MI both citied the events were canceled due to a scheduling conflict.

Auburn, KY radio station WBVR 96.7 FM notified fans on their Facebook page (view below) the Bowling Green live event was cancelled due to a scheduling conflict.  It should be noted that WWE’s website still has the event listed. 

As of this report, Ticketmaster’s website indicates no tickets for the Bowling Green, KY event are available, and there is no indication of a cancellation for this event.
