WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins tops the 2019 Annual PWI 500 list

Seth Rollins tops PWI 500

Pro Wrestling Illustrated revealed today that WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins has topped the 29th Annual PWI 500 list.

The eligibility period was from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. During that time, Rollins won the WWE Intercontinental Championship, RAW Tag Team Championships, won the 2019 Royal Rumble Match, and defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.

Rollins was quoted in the magazine saying:

“As difficult as it can be, this is all I ever wanted — to be in this position, to be having this conversation with you — talking about being the absolute best wrestler on the entire planet. I don’t think there is a single part of me that would trade any second of it.”

This is the second time that Rollins has earned the top spot on the PWI 500. Rollins previously topped the list in 2015. According to WWE, Rollins joins Bret Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, and John Cena as the only WWE Superstars to earn the nod twice.
