WWE Superstar Lacey Evans confirmed on Twitter today the video of her receiving a speeding ticket over the weekend in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in which she stayed in character the entire time, was staged by both parties to promote the WWE live event in Edmonton.
Evans (real name Macey Estrella-Kadlec) is a five-year veteran of the United States Marines. She served as a military police officer with the Special Reaction Team, which is similar to SWAT. She enlisted at age 19, earning a bachelor’s degree and starting a construction business while on active duty.
Evans signed a WWE contract on April 12, 2016 and is currently on the RAW brand.
